10 LEGENDS BEHIND OUR LEGEND JEANS

What goes into the making of our new
selvedge denim collections? Months of
vintage research, dozens of carefully
crafted details and a lot of Los Angeles
love.
1. Each Legend pair is woven with selvedge denim,
carefully crafted on vintage looms so that the edge
will never unravel. Check the interior outseam of
the jeans for a distinctive white seam stitched in
red—a detail that stands out when you cuff them.
2. Our denim team added a mini replica of the
same selvedge seam to each coin pocket.
3. Guys, you get a selvedge seam sewn into your
center belt loop, too.
4. Our Men’s Selvedge is woven from the best denim
mills in the world.
5. Our Women’s Skinny fit selvedge is woven with
t-400 fiber technology, a new breakthrough that
brings sexy stretch, unprecedented recovery and non-
stop softness to premium denim. And our Women’s
Boyfriend fits use 100% cotton.
6. Every single pair is handcrafted a few blocks
from our office in Downtown LA.
7. What’s in a Legend wash? The past. Each of
our 11 washes (6 for guys, 5 for women) reflects a
vintage original that we found while scouring Los
Angeles’ famed flea markets.
8. What’s in a Legend fit? The future. What
makes each pair even more unique is the care we put
into crafting streamlined, modern fits to bring edge
to the old-world feel of the denim.
9. Speaking of modernity, we poured tomorrow’s
minimalism not only into the fits, but into details
like Legend’s unique cream labels, designed with a
clean bold typeface.
10. Last but not least, our favorite detail: The
center button on the fly was inspired by the
manhole covers that we spotted during daily jaunts
to get Blue Bottle coffee and Bestia cocktails in
our beloved neighborhood: The Arts District of
Downtown LA.
