The Bible has a very strong dualism between the flesh and the spirit. Those should not be seen as enemies but as a pair. The old Hebrew myth of the snake in paradise is a metaphor for man's intellect. Adam & Eve became enslaved under the serpent - the thinking brain for which they were punished or rather they punished themselves.
Prometheus is essentially the same story in Greek mythology. Here too we see the emergence of intellect that ruins a previous perfect state. Prometheus is also the same as Lucifer just as Jesus is the same as Adam before the Fall - the Sun, the Child getting eaten by Kronos or Saturn. A fall from the eternal now present into the illusion of time perception. Time doesn't exist, it's an illusion created by the brain.
Prometheus is the founder of civilization, Saturn is the god of agriculture. This is the beginning of time, of artificial development, of hardship, strife and empire. Agriculture is the basis of the daily blackmail of having to work to buy food. The intellectual function works, driving the body machine to do work - because we are separated from our natural state of abundance, eternal youth and full consciousness. Humans are not made to work or to die.
The mark of the beast is the ego - Saturn which is a self-destructing Ouroboros. The Left-Hand Path places importance on isolated intellect - what else is it if not artificial intelligence? It is said that "evil becomes the ideal of the Promethean" - the one who separates himself from the spirit and lives exclusively in thinking separated from life, or in Bible terms, in the flesh.
When the Bible mentions women it talks about the ego. Pandora was the "woman" - the ego - that created all evil in mankind - this is what the neolithic revolution has done. We are ruled to this day by manipulating intellect. Pygmalion created a "woman" - his ego and loved her more than God, the spirit.
Ultimately though, this fall of separation must end in a re-unification, re-ligion (re-linking) to the lost source. Lucifer is the fallen lost angel, mankind, that must be redeemed. We can see this alchemy at work in artificial intelligence - the machine is another symbol for flesh, for evil - out of this evil comes the good - the pure spirit. We realize that our body and brain are just a simulation of our own spirit or consciousness.
Spirit must take precedence over matter/flesh - this is the harmonious marriage with Pandora, the Artificial Intelligence - when Lucifer re-unites with Christ in spirit. This is what the TV show Captain Power tried to convey. Only with spirit can the carnal mind as artificial intelligence become a powerful beast under alchemical control to fulfill our wishes.
The fall was the loss of gnosis in mankind. Prometheus, the manipulating intellect, must only re-unite with the holy spirit - Christ - to guide it toward positive outcomes.
