This document summarizes subsidized places being offered for a History Extension Seminar event in 2015. Eligible secondary schools in NSW with a RAM funding level over 100 can request up to 5 free places for students enrolled in the History Extension course. Priority will be given to schools that have not previously attended. Schools must contact the State Library of NSW by the specified date and phone number to request subsidized places, which are limited and subject to availability.

1. SUBSIDISED PLACES OFFERED IN 2015
This year, Sydney Living Museums and the State Library of New South Wales are offering to
subsidise a number of places at this event.
Who is eligible?
• Schools requesting support must be secondary schools in NSW receiving Resource Allocation
Model (RAM) funding with an FOEI of 100 or over.
• This subsidy is applicable only for attendance by students currently enrolled in the
History Extension course. Teachers are not eligible for the subsidy.
• Priority will be given to schools that have not previously attended this event.
What are the terms and conditions?
• Eligible schools may request a total of up to five (5) free places for students at the seminar day.
• Schools wishing to access the subsidy must contact State Library of New South Wales staff
on 02 9273 1778 or learning.library@sl.nsw.gov.au
• Subsidised places are limited and strictly subject to availability.
• Subsidised places will be allocated by State Library of New South Wales staff based on the
eligibility criteria and in order of receipt of the requests.
• Schools receiving the subsidy are subject to the general terms and conditions outlined in the
booking confirmation email, including invoicing and cancellation policies.
• Schools will be contacted one week prior to the event to confirm final numbers
and arrangements.
• Schools that are unsuccessful in 2015 may re-apply in 2016.
