A princess runs away from an unwanted marriage into the forest and meets a lonely frog. She kisses the frog, transforming herself into a frog as well. The frog tells her she must kiss a prince to turn back, which seems unlikely. However, one day a prince also fleeing an unwanted marriage comes upon them. He kisses the former princess, turning her back into a human. They fall in love and live happily ever after.

1. The Princess and the Lonely Frog

One day there was a princess that lived in a castle near a forest. Her parents
wanted her to marry a guy she didn’t like. On the day of the wedding when they were
about to say their vows she said”, no I will not marry you.”
Then, she ran into the forest. She ran into a swamp. She saw a frog on a lily pad.
He said he was very lonely.
Then he asked her “will you kiss me?” she didn’t want to be mean and say no. so
she, said “I guess so”.
The princess picked the frog up and kissed him. POOF! She turned into a frog.
The princess asked him, “How did this happen?”
The frog said, “You kiss a frog you turn, into a frog. Well how do I turn back?
The princess asked.
“In order to turn back to yourself you have to kiss a prince. Said the frog.
“Well that will never happen.” Said the princess
“It could”. Said the frog.
“Then why didn’t it happen to you? “Asked the princess.
“Because I was born a frog. “Said the frog.
Days went by. The princess was beginning to think she wasn’t going to get back
to her original self. A week went by and finally a prince came, but she didn’t know where
from. But, a prince came running in as if he were upset.
“What’s wrong? “Asked the princess.
The prince looked at her. “I don’t want to marry this girl, my parents want me
too.”
I know how that feels”, mumbled the princess frog.
“kiss me said the princess frog.”
He lifted her up and kissed her.Puff! She was back to her-self. The prince and
princess fell in love and lived happily ever after!
