1. Centuries ago, the LORD God showed man his
intentions prior to gathering his saints.
Enoch, the seventh from Adam prophesied of the
Lord's return to execute judgement upon an evil and
wicked world. Noah preached
and built an ark for over a
century while warning a
gainsaying world of an
imminent deluge. Lastly we
have Lot. He was the worldly
nephew of Abraham. Lot's
soul was vexed daily by the
unlawful deeds of his wicked
"brethren." All of these men
typified what God did before
the exodus. God pulled them
out before chaos and great
tribulation came. Enoch was
translated that he should not
see death (Hebrews 11:5).
Noah and his family were saved by the ark
before the flood and poor Lot, barely saved
by the skin of his teeth before the fire fell. Currently as
persecution against Christians is breaking out all over
the world, one must emphatically realize this fact.
America WILL NOT be excluded. We American
Christians will no doubt face similar persecution. Yes,
there will be persecutions, but not total destruction.
For it is written: Yea, and all that live godly in Christ
Jesus shall suffer persecution
(II Timothy 3:12).
Persecution shall come
but not overtake us.
Suffering shall come but not
overthrow us. For it is written,
the gates of hell shall not
prevail against the church–no,
not then, not now, and not
before the exodus.
