This passage poetically describes the omnipresent qualities of motherhood through a series of rhetorical questions contrasting different body parts and attributes of a mother. It questions whether her blood, milk, embrace, belly or other features were more sacred, compassionate, beautiful etc. In the end, it concludes that nothing of a mother could be compared to anything else and that everything about her was intransigently immortal.
