We must try to be objective; to control our emotions; to choose to see good in a situation; to steady our nerves; to ignore what disturbs or limits others; to place things in perspective; to revert to the present moment; to focus on what we can control. This is how we see the opportunity within the obstacle. It does not happen on its own. It is a process – one that results from self-discipline and logic. That logic is available to you. All you have to do is deploy it.

When we believe in the obstacle more than our desired goal, what triumphs?
There is good in every situation.
We have to look for it.
Every situation is an opportunity to act
The obstacle is an advantage not adversity. The enemy is in our inability to see this.
Rude or disrespectful – they underestimate us which is a huge advantage.
Conniving – we do not have to apologize when we make an example of them.
