Due to the specifics of my job, I have to communicate with programmers pretty often. Our company develops, promotes and sells self-developed software products, static code analyzers PVS-Studio and CppCat. Our products are oriented toward programmers and help find bugs in the source code of applications through automatic code analysis.
Technology for Plastic Mold Tooling - Direct Metal Deposition HCL Technologies
This whitepaper highlights the benefits of DMD(Direct Metal Deposition) technology in mold cycle time reduction. It presents a comparative analysis conducted for cycle time performance of a mold consisting of a conventionally machined tool steel insert to a mold fitted with a Chromium Copper insert with a coating of tool steel deposited by the DMD process.

2020 Chrome Dev Summit: Web Performance 101Tammy Everts
What do we mean when we talk about "web performance"? Why should you care about it? How can measure it? How do you get other people in your organization to care? In this workshop at the 2020 Chrome Dev Summit, I covered these questions – including an overview of the history of performance metrics, up to Core Web Vitals.
FID to INP: Mastering the New Core Web Vitals MetricAnton Shulke
Since 2020, Google has been monitoring the performance of websites with their collection of "Core Web Vitals" metrics. Now, one of those metrics is changing. Starting March 12, First Input Delay (FID) will be replaced with the new Interaction to Next Paint (INP). Find out the rationale behind the change, its implications for search engine optimization, and how it'll impact your agency at this critical webinar for those looking to rank on Google.
Web design vs web development- This is all you need to knowsangerarayal
In the age of digital population, there is hardly a business left that does not have or need a website. Currently, there are 1.95 billion websites on the Internet, and most of them are commercial. If you have a business that you want to represent on the Internet, a web development company is your best ally.

My talk summary:
Jon will take you through a project where “traditional” UX tools were dropped in favour of using web technologies to design an updated eCommerce experience for Clarks.
By focusing on designing things right through prototyping, cxpartners are helping Clarks to deliver a customer-centric eCommerce experience to their customers.
He’ll explain how working with developers to produce HTML prototypes can reduce risk in design, produce better testing results, and ensure a smooth delivery process of new and updated digital services to a wider audience of users.
The web is not a fixed width, and Steve Fisher thinks we are remembering that. If our medium is fluid, should our process be fixed? Steve prefers designing within the browser, especially when responsive design is a requirement. Fireworks and Photoshop are not flexible enough to demonstrate media queries, button and menu states, HTML5 and JavaScript behaviors, dynamic resizing of elements and navigation flow. Because the medium is fluid, our approach to design has to be fluid as well. A responsive process is a responsible process, matching the medium. After working with many companies and organizations, helping them transform their process to fit a responsive workflow, Steve is going to share the goods. One web to rule them all!
I am professional Web Designer & Front-End Developer with over 10 years of experience. To take a challenging role in a highly technical company where I could utilize my skills in Web Designing, Front-End Web Development, HTML5, CSS3, web standards and various web scripting technologies.

Breaking The Broken Web
with Kyle Simpson
OVERVIEW
The web is fundamentally broken in two deeply profound ways and unfortunately the only way we’re going to move forward is to painfully break from our past and present realities. First, we’ve got to break from the idealistic but untenable notion of unbounded backwards compatibility. Then we’re going to need to break from the notion of building sites/apps that assume fast and unmetered bandwidth, unlimited battery power, and users which want their devices completely maxed out in experience. Let’s stop building a broken Web and break it forward.
OBJECTIVE
To come to terms with the Web we’ve built broken by its very fundamental design, and break from this past to move forward.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Designers and Web builders.
ASSUMED AUDIENCE KNOWLEDGE
Basics of Web design and standards.
FIVE THINGS AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL LEARN
Why are there so many bugs in Web technology that never get fixed?
What is browser game theory and what does it mean to me?
Besides screen size/orientation, what other factors should come into play when deciding what experience to give a user?
What limitations do real users face which limit what experience they want or can “afford” on your site?
How can we wire user-choice into the fabric of what we build and the way users experience the Web?
It's a half-day workshop part of beyondtellerrand Berlin 2018 event and world usability day 2018 on November 8th. Where participants created voice interface solutions for the usability problems using bottalk to build Alexa skills.
UX Cambridge 2018 lighting talk.
How to become a voice interface designer with skills you already have? In this talk, I shared 3 skills essentials for voice interface design.
1. Personality
2. Conversational Design
3. User testing

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.
Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.
