The Istanbul Archaeology Museum houses many artifacts from ancient civilizations including grave steles depicting Nikaiam and Helikon, a bronze bust of Empress Aelia Eudocia, sculptures of Emperor Valentinian and the goddess Athena, reliefs of gods and an oblation stele, a statue of the Good Shepherd, a mosaic showing Orpheus, columns, a silver plate, and sculptures of Alexander the Great, Okeanos, Artemis, Poseidon, Nymphe, Cleopatra, Zeus, and Cornelia Astoria. One of the most prominent displays is the Lycian sarcophagus.
