Bodrum is a town located in Mugla, Turkey. It is known as the birthplace of Herodotus, who is considered the father of written history. The town also has a museum dedicated to Zeki Muren, a famous Turkish singer known as the "Sun of Art" in Turkey. Bodrum contains several smaller towns within it, including Akyarlar, Bitez, and Yalıkavak.
