Strategic Planning for Businesses
Businesses need to plan well if they want to succeed
in a competitive marketplace.
They will need to optimize their efforts and run as
lean as they can, balancing saving money while
achieving the goals and results from a solid social
media marketing plan.
Data and Algorithms
When people search for things, data is collected and then used
to market to these same people. It is getting scary out there
when you can be talking about a product, and it shows up in
your feed as an Ad.
Security and Responsibility
People are people we cannot treat them as a number, so it is every
businesses' moral obligation to keep their online services as secure as they
can while doing business.
There will always be hackers and the need for cyber security ad the scams I
have seen and see every day are marketing scams to sell bogus products
or “magic beans” to everyone who falls for it.
Ethical
Considerations
For businesses to succeed they need to adhere to an ethical code. People will
do more business with those they trust and can back up their ethical claims
with top notch service.
People will and should stop buying products that are made in sweatshops.
Conclusion
Marketing can be a balancing act with catastrophic financial implications if
not planned out correctly with tired and true techniques. When it comes
to social media marketing there may not be the same learning curve, but
the principals of marketing are the same. As we go into the future of
marketing it will only get easier to shop and buys things, but there could
be bad implications such as overspending, depression, loneliness ect.
