Community history projects what i do...Ellen Brown
Ellen Apperson Brown runs a business called Community Archives of SWVA that focuses on collecting, researching, writing, and publishing local history. She has done many projects over the years including oral histories, scanning records, writing articles and books, and teaching workshops. She hopes to partner with local museums and historical societies to expand her work and make historical information more accessible online.
Christ Fellowship church is renting space at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables to hold Sunday services, becoming the theatre's sixth campus location. The theatre sees it as a mutually beneficial partnership that will bring additional foot traffic to the area on Sunday mornings. Services will be held at 9am and 10:30am each Sunday, led by Campus Pastor Rey De Armas. The church aims to reach a new audience from the nearby University of Miami student population.
This temple is located in a small town called Lahad Datu in Malaysia. It was built over 100 years ago when the town was first established. The temple features unique architectural designs like lions and dragons as well as historical artifacts. Local residents visit the temple regularly to pray, make offerings, and participate in cultural activities that have been practiced for generations. The temple serves as an important part of the local community's culture, history and identity.
Since 2013 St Andrew's URC in Balham, SW London, have been putting on an exhibition of Bible stories using knitted figures of about the size of an average nativity scene. The exhibition lasts for a week, when around 1,000 children from local schools visit it, as well as neighbours and friends.

It's an abandoned mansion in the 'outskirts' of the Municipality of Oton. It's probably the first building of any significance you'll see when coming into town, but don't explore it just yet. See the rest of the town and enjoy a leisurely lunch then visit the site on your way back to 'the big city' in Iloilo.
