This document discusses the concept of "survival-mentality" and how it limits human potential. It argues that survival-mentality, defined as living only to meet basic needs without pursuing excellence, is not God's intent for humanity. The document outlines facts about survival-mentality, including how it disrespects both the rich and poor, is not God's concept of existence, and places limits on human destiny. It provides ways to overcome survival-mentality, such as understanding our redemptive position in Christ and setting excellence as a core value.
Blessing can be commanded; healing can be commanded but not growth. Growth cannot be a miracle; it has to be a process. The process may be enhanced (Leviticus 25:21), hence the need to know the laws of growth, the second law building on the first, the third on the second etc.
This document discusses career investment seeds presented by Scott Odigie. It outlines 10 types of investments God makes in people to help them fulfill their destiny, including the Holy Spirit, life, vision, opportunities, material resources, grace, time, gifts, personality type, and people. Each investment seed is defined and an example is given from the Bible to illustrate how that investment can help a believer fulfill God's divine plan and purpose for their life.
The document discusses the seven spheres of influence that Christians are called to penetrate and transform according to the Great Commission: (1) worship/belief systems, (2) family, (3) media, (4) government/politics, (5) education/science and technology, (6) economy/business, and (7) arts & culture. It provides strategies for taking over these spheres by either building new Godly systems or penetrating and restructuring existing systems from within, working quietly like yeast to transform them. Christians are challenged to identify which sphere they will work to take over.
Surviving an economic downturn - a biblical perspective by Kwame PayneNkpayne47
The document provides a Biblical Christian perspective on surviving an economic downturn. It recommends seeking a relationship with God, living a purposeful and simple life, being part of a faith community, generously supporting the church, practicing excellent work, praying for leaders, growing in love and service, prioritizing family and health, advocating for social justice, developing skills and multiple streams of income, networking with others, avoiding debt, maintaining biblical values, expressing gratitude, and having faith in God.
This document discusses how humans have an innate God-given purpose to care for the world, procreate, love God and others, and enjoy their work. However, the world often distorts these purposes by failing to care for the environment, harming others, disrespecting sex, and not truly loving. It encourages finding one's individual vision and purpose by listening to God, getting rid of distractions, having faith, and worshipping even during trials. Fulfilling one's God-given purpose can be accomplished through small acts of obedience like Gideon did in defeating the Midianites despite being outnumbered.

5 Paradigms And Kingdom Business For Alict August 2009Dion Forster
As society changes it is necessary to change the way in which we do ministry. The Church dominated model, where ministry is done almost exclusively in and through congregations, needs to be strengthened and further developed by empowering Christians to do ministry in their places of work and study! We spend most of our waking hours at work, or at school, or in our community and home. Furthermore, if we are honest, the majority of Churches do not equip and facilitate ministry beyond the interests of their congregational needs.
This presentation was prepared for a group of international students on the African Leadership in Community Transformation school in Cape Town. I prepared it based on my experience as a minister in the marketplace. I serve as a chaplain to a large construction company (the Power Group http://www.powergrp.co.za). I hold a doctorate in theology and science and am an ordained minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa - so, this presentation draws together:
- Theology
- Biblical and scriptural injunctions on ministry
- An understanding of economics and justice
- Neuroscience (showing how and why we do certain things)
- Research on the Church and the Christian faith

The 12 Gates of Influence @ The Christian Business & Leadership Conference_Cl...Joseph Asoh
The 12 Gates of Influence is a expanded missionary teaching from the revelation of Johnny Enlow, author of The Seven Mountain Prophecy (2006) and from a teaching by Dr Myles Munroe in 2010. Joseph Asoh's 12 Gates of Influence itemizes and elucidates 12 key areas that make up every society where Christians are mandated to influence with the culture, lifestyle, and principles of God's Kingdom. (Matt. 6:11). These 12 key areas include: Business, Education, Entertainment, Family Life, Government, Health, Law, Media, Politics, Religion, Scientific Development, Sports. It is God's desire that every believer should extend the government of heaven to earth such that whatever heaven enjoys, the earth should enjoy also.
The 12 Gates of Influence identifies 12 Sectors of Society that every believer is called to bring about change in. It is a call to bringing about change in all spheres of life beginning at the lowest levels and ascending the highest realms. It is a call to bring personal change, family change, neighborhood change, community change, regional change, national change and global change. This is in response to the mandate (Great Commission) given by Jesus Christ to make disciple of all nations. Matthew 28:19-20
The purpose of this seminar is to prepare believers [God’s battle axe in this end-time] from all walks of life to invade territories that before now have been dominated by enemies and haters of God and haters of godly principles.
The strategy in fulfilling this divine mandate is in the training, equipping and mentoring of believers in the various fields of their passion and creativity through the organization of precision-tailored seminars, conferences and workshops geared towards spiritual, mental, social and economic awakening thereby raising armies of change agents that will take over Nigeria and the world in all spheres of life and preparing the earth for the ruler-ship and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
This year’s 12 Gates of Influence is in collaboration with Clear Waters International Ministries, an interdenominational ministry focused on giving a unique cutting edge to mission and leadership trainings for Christians in Business, Government and other Leadership positions.
This year’s 12 Gates of Influence will cover such 12 Sectors of society namely: Business, Education, Entertainment, Family, Government, Health, Law, Media, Politics, Religion Scientific Development, and Sports plus other vital areas such as
Principles of National Transformation (Emulating USA, Singapore, UAE)
Principles of Kingdom Advancement (The Bible’s Blue Print)
The Nigerian Dream (The Next Hundred Years?)
Blue Ocean Strategy (Business Principle)
The Power of the Age to Come (Divine Impartation)
The Coming Great Wealth Transfer
The Coming Great Power Transfer
The Spirit of Leadership
Combating the New Age New World Order

This document discusses principles and perspectives on missions mobilization. It emphasizes that mobilization is the process of educating God's people about His plans for world evangelization and keeping them involved. Mobilizers inspire and connect individuals to strategic opportunities that align with God's global purpose. Effective mobilization requires dealing with deep roots like beliefs and worldviews, not just surface issues. Storytelling and meeting real needs are important for contextualization. The document presents principles for community development and mobilization, including starting small and letting ownership emerge locally.
Rejecting the Influence of Secular HumanismPeter Hammond
This document discusses the influence of worldviews and the need to reject secular humanism. It argues that everyone is influenced by a worldview that shapes their values and guides their life. The Bible presents a worldview that answers fundamental questions of life and reality. In contrast, humanist worldviews like rationalism, empiricism, and materialism reject biblical revelation. It's important to evaluate people's underlying beliefs and the practical implications of their worldview to avoid being deceived.
This document discusses perspectives on wealth and personal finance principles from a religious viewpoint. It begins by discussing the importance of having an eternal perspective when making choices regarding wealth. It then outlines key principles for understanding and using wealth wisely, including that everything belongs to God, we are stewards over what he provides, we have agency in our choices, and are accountable for our choices. It provides observations that wealth does not indicate righteousness, should be shared freely, and can be a blessing or curse depending on how it is used. The document encourages focusing on spiritual wealth over material wealth.
This document discusses truths about financial freedom from a biblical perspective. It is intended for anyone seeking financial soundness or freedom. The document outlines truths about financial abundance from the Bible and discusses different mindsets around money, including those of children, women, and avid rich people. It also discusses skills of wealth creators, including financial literacy, modeling one's life with other people's money, pitching and advancing taste, and understanding different types of income. Untold truths about financial literacy are explored, comparing typical advice to alternative paths of building businesses and becoming a successful investor.
This document discusses the importance of spiritual education. It begins by stating PIC Vision's goal to educate global Christian leaders through the power of the Holy Spirit. It then examines passages from Proverbs calling believers to seek wisdom and understanding from God. The document outlines different levels of formal education but emphasizes that spiritual education from God's word is the foundation for life. It encourages reading and meditating on scripture daily to connect with the living God and influence the world.

Editor's Notes
What do people think about when they hear the word entrepreneur?
Successful
Innovative or brilliant
Decision maker
Finger on the pulse of what people want or need
Lucky
Annually about ½ million people actually become business owners or entrepreneurs.
So what is an entrepreneur? one who undertakes (some task)
Webster’s defines entrepreneur
Operative words:
organizes and manages
any enterprise, especially a business
considerable initiative and risk
Steve Jobs
A man called one of the greatest entrepreneurs of the technology era. He was inventor, and CEO of Apple several times over.
Steve Jobs co-founded Apple Computers with Steve Wozniak.
pioneered a series of revolutionary technologies, including the iPhone and iPad.
changed the way we looked at mobile phones and personal computers.
transformed the way we look at and use technology.
The iPhone and iPad were an experience rather than a tool.
They were simple, elegant and beautiful, something to be cherished.
NO ONE had created that before him. It was said of him…
“There is not a single executive or creator in the technology industry more important than Steve Jobs.”
Does Steve Jobs fit our definition of an entreprenuer Yes! Or Yes!
So what about Jesus?
Rita I am not so sure we can apply this definition to Jesus?
Why would you call him an entrepreneur?
He organized and managed one of the largest life transformational movements of his time and any other time, with a team of 12. All of them he singlehandedly chose.
The Roman Empire accomplished something very similar. Rome became the center of the ancient world, as they transformed the lives of many people and nations by conquering them and making them part of the Empire. But Rome did this with Emperors, a Roman Army, a body of senators, governors and a whole host of people who kept the masses in line and following Roman dictates.
Second: This was a huge undertaking that involved vision, mission, planning, people, money, marketing, selling and customers.
5000 customers at one time.
He did this with a directorship of 12;
Group of behind the scenes players and a host of financiers.
Third: He accomplished this at considerable effort on his part and substantial risk to his life and livelihood.
He was so sought after that people clamored for his product everywhere he went.
Huge crowds gathered to hear him market his product;
Sometimes he had to sleep in the bottom of a boat or climb a mountain to get any rest.
His competitors continually plotted and planned his downfall. Once they tried to stone him.
They slander and libeled him; spoke against his product and had customers believing his product was defective.
Eventually, enough of his competitors got together and put him out of business, so they thought.
So was Jesus an entrepreneur?
He fits the definition. He fits the criteria to undertake. Entrepreneur, is one who undertakes; Jesus certainly undertook the task, the enterprise, the business of changing people’s lives, one person at a time.
But was He the greatest entrepreneur?
Well, people of all nations, and economic, educational, intellectual, social, theological levels are able to obtain his product and transform their lives.
It is a simple, elegant, beautiful experience that transforms the way we live throughout the world.
Time is measured by him & After 2000+ years his product is still changing lives. Even Steve Jobs of Apple can’t say that.
Without blaspheming Christ, I think we can safely bring Jesus into the 21st Century and label Him as a great, if not the greatest entrepreneur, we know.
Okay, so that’s great, why should you or I care about that?
Friedrich Niezsche
Was a German philosopher who advocated the death of God so I don’t agree with or condon much of what he believed, but he did nail it when he said this.
So let me give you your why (s) you should listen to put stock in what we are saying this weekend and get moving!
It is your responsibility; Proverbs 13:22 says a good man (woman) leaves an inhertance to his children’s children
The Wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
If the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just – how do you intend to get it?
Can you leave your job or your mortgaged house or car to your children’s children?
Do you think that your job is going to make you wealthy? If it was many of us would be wealthy by now?
Who has your job made wealthy? Do you think they are leaving an inheritance to their children’s children?
Maybe you have your own business but it is not prosperous…Here is the big white elephant in the room “what If I fail?”
In the world, rf an individual decides to start a business where do they normally go? SCORE
Why do people seek out SCORE training and expertise when they want to open a business?
We already established Jesus was one of the most successful entrepreneur’s that ever lived.
If you want to open and run a successful enterprise, no matter what type of enterprise,
where would you want to go to get your business success principles?
Amway business - one of our most successful upline would as this question,
“if had to cross a minefield, would you want to go first or follow someone.”
So we have established Jesus was one of the most successful entrepreneur’s that ever lived. If you want to open and run a successful enterprise, no matter what type of enterprise, where do you want to go to get your business success principles?
When I was in the Amway business one of our most successful upline would as this question, “if had to cross a minefield, would you want to go first or follow someone.”
Raise you had if you said go first?
Raise your hand if you said follow someone?
Because if you follow someone you can step in their footsteps and you know you won’t blow up.
As Christians, we want to go first or go it alone.
So people start across the minefield and boom! There goes a leg. Bam! There goes an arm. We are wounded and wobbling along.
We need to learn to follow someone across the minefield. Then we can turn around and help someone else across.
That is one of the reasons why I use coaches when I need to navigate a specific minefield.
If you get with me later I will talk with you about the importance of coaching and mentoring, and answer your questions about how it works.
So it stands to reason you would want to learn from and be mentored by the greatest right? Or right?
If Jesus was the greatest and you want to follow the greatest, and he left a manual about how to navigate the minefield, wouldn’t you want to use it? Yes or Yes!
Okay, so I am going to share with you 3 important mindsets; and 3 important principles that Jesus used continuously.
Your why is not clear so you can’t focus on it!
When you try and understand everything with the natural mind, you are doomed to failure.
Understanding and reasoning must go beyond the natural and incorporate spiritual discernment
to realize the higher purpose and calling of thoughts, attitudes, information and behavior.
Scripture says: This is the person who can be instructed because they possess the mind of Christ.
The 3 most mental attributes Jesus had was: Focus, Fire and Facts
Focus
Jesus was focused on his purpose all the time.
At 12; Canaan Wedding; His mind was full of the Father’s words
He knew what he came for; He knew who he was and He knew where he was going
You are what you think about.
I was reading an article that said our minds are well trained in the ways of the world.
Sound (especially music) and imagery (pictures) are powerful communicators and behavior modifiers.
Ever found yourself humming a tune that you don’t know where you heard it.
Or remembering a horror movie at the most inopportune time—when you are home alone. If you have the power to create what you think about, real or fantasy, then you have the power to turn fantasy into reality.
The mind does not know the difference. So you can now be both teacher and student.
How Focused are YOU?
Your current life is the manifestation of the natural and spiritual capabilities of the mind that created it. Your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors and actions so far have led to the life you now live; if you want different you have to think differently and focus on that thinking.
If you want to go from employee-preneur to entrepreneur you must change your mindset and your focus.
Prov 23:7 “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” How do you think?
You have to have proven processes that help you identify who you are, what you want, and focus on that and not on what you don’t. Later on in the back I can talk with you about that.
Fire
Jesus was full of passion and compassion. What is the difference?
His passions or compassion was never misplaced or uncontrolled;
He never let his emotions control Him.
Passion is any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love or hate.
Jesus made a scourge of small cords and drove the merchants and moneychangers out of the temple.’ The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up John 2:15-17.
Jesus wept over Lazarus death John 11:35
He was angered over the rebuke of healing on the Sabbath Mark 3:5
He had compassion a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.
In Matthew 14 He fed the 5000 and 4000 and healed their sick. He healed the Canaanite woman’s daughter who was vexed of a devil.
Multitudes sought to touch him and take virtue from him to be healed. Luke 6:17-19
Compassion is not pity – He knew that people had a choice to suffer or not!
Facts
Jesus did not mince words, speak what was inappropriate or get his facts from the world.
What I should say and what I should speak [John 12:49]
He studied the scriptures; meditated on God’s instructions; discussed the word that He had; Law of Moses. He continuously talked about deeds without understanding [what defiles a man was not unclean hands but an unclean heart]. He was always talking about what the kingdom was like…
Christians should have the mindset of being spiritual lawyers.
study the laws, study the science, seek to understand the concepts of every spiritual law as it relates to the Word, and recognize spiritual law when it is in action.
Scripture says “The sons of this world are wiser in their generation than the sons of light.” (Luke 16:8)
That means that the world has a better understanding and application of spiritual principles than most Christians do.
As a result, many of them are living the life of wealth and prosperity that God has intended for His people.
So The # 1 Reason Believer’s should be business owners – Promise for the believer Proverbs 13:22 the righteous will be rewarded with prosperity… the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous
Remember the question “If you had to cross a minefield… would want to go first or follow someone?”
The # 2 Reason we should be in our own business is We have the manual the Principles of Spiritual Business from the
Book of Income, Basis, Liabilities & Expenses.
Using the manual you can make your way prosperous and have good success.
When we use the world’s manual, how much success do we have?
The # 2 Reason we should be in our own business is We have the manual the Principles of Spiritual Business from the
Book of Income, Basis, Liabilities & Expenses.
The Lord multiplies and adds; there is no subtraction or division. Deu 8:13 Multiplication & Deu 8:18 Gives us power to create wealth
Basis is the investment you make in the business
Count the cost before you begin construction, or you may run out of money before it is finished.
Plan for prosperity
Luke 13:7 The 4 year prosperity plan
And He began telling this parable: "A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. 7"And he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?' 8"And he answered and said to him, 'Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; and if it bear fruit, well; and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Liabilities
Roman 13:7-8 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; …Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Expenses
Do not defraud or rob your neighbor. Do not hold back the wages of a hired worker overnight; One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty. – Proverbs 22:16
Ezra 9:12
Do not seek a treaty of friendship with them (them is the employee mentality) at any time, that you may be strong and eat the good things of the land and leave it to your children as an everlasting inheritance.'
Ps 37:25-26 When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand. I have been young and now I am old,
Sometimes I am not sure about this scripture: Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his descendants begging bread. All day long he is gracious and lends, (we need to be the lenders).
And his descendants are a blessing.
We cannot lend what we do not have.
