,software and information security is known as Cyber laws .
Cyber Crimes :- cyber crimes are those crime in which computer
systems are involved . Cyber crime also called computer crime . The
use of a computer as an instrument to further illegal .
Such as commiting frauds trafficking in child pornography and
intellectual property stealing identities or violating privacy .
3. THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF OFFENCE
1. Cognizable offence : Serious offence are cognizable offence
police officers can arrest the person without warrant .
2. Non-Cognizable offence : Less serious offence are non-
cognizable offence , police has no authority to arrest a person
without warrant .

IT act also known as an information technology act .
These act was commset on 7th oct 2000 and Amended in
2008 .
This was first act for the computer related offence .
