2. Momos

PREPARATION
1. Making the dough
Take 1 cup all purpose
flour, ยผ teaspoon salt & ยฝ
teaspoon oil in a bowl. Mix
well.
Add 2-3 tablespoon water
& begin to knead. Donโt
make the dough soft.
Cover the dough with
kitchen towel. & let it rest
for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough in two
parts. Make a long log.
Cut it into slices. 1
2. Preparing vegetable
stuffing
Chop the vegetables like
cabbage, carrots, french
beans, capsicum, etc.
Heat oil in frying pan.
Add ยฝ teaspoon of finely
chopped garlic. Saute for
2-3 seconds.
Add veggies & saute for
10-15 seconds.
Add 1 spoon of soya
sauce, ยฝ teaspoon black
pepper & salt.
3. Making Momos
Shape the dough slice
into a ball. Roll it & fill it
with the stuffing. Try to
make pleats & join the
edges at the centre.
Steam these momos in an
electric cooker or a
steamer pan.
When you touch the
momo then dough should
not feel sticky to you. This
means they are ready.
3. Tomato Achar (Pickle)
15 minutes
INGREDIENTS
โข 2 large tomatoes boiled &
crushed
โข 4-5 green chilies
โข 1 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION
Boil tomatoes, crush & grind them
with chilies in stone mortar.
Add salt and mix well to get thick
paste of tomato achar,
Serve with momos.

4. Chhurpi Soup
25 minutes โข Makes 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
โข 250 grams chhurpi
โข ยฝ cup sliced tomato
โข ยฝ cup chopped onion
โข 3-4 green chilies
โข 1 teaspoon ginger
โข ยฝ teaspoon paanch phoran
โข ยผ tablespoon turmeric powder
โข 1 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION
Heat oil, fry paanch phoran, add
chopped onion till it becomes
golden.
Add finely sliced & grated ginger,
tomatoes and seasoned with
chhurpi & salt. Stir and fry till oil
separates.
Garnish with fresh coriander
leaves.
Serve hot with cooked rice,
