MIXQUIC is a small town southeast of Mexico City known for its intense celebrations of The Day of the Dead. On November 2nd, the church bells ring and people go to the local cemetery to clean and decorate their loved ones' tombs, leaving candles, flowers and favorite foods of those who have passed away. JANITZIO is an island in the state of Michoacan in Mexico.
