Tema do 17º Domingo do Tempo Comum - Ano C

Visiting Badlands National Park is like taking a Science class This area of the vast American grassland was once an ancient seabed, and over time, has eroded away into intricate rocky formations of multicolored buttes, canyons and delicate spires.
Even a glancing look at the eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires in the 244,000-acre park shows horizontal bands throughout the formation, each band with its own science story much like a time machine. The Badlands feature an alien landscape of ravines, ridges and colored rock layers. Badlands National Park in South Dakota is a must-see for National Park, fossil, and geology enthusiasts.
Autumn is a very attractive season in Pakistan . The trees throughout the valleys seem to be on fire as their leaves turn gold, red orange and bronze, contrasting sharply with the barren mountains, their tops covered with snow and emerald green waters of the river snaking through the valleys. Autumn in Northern Areas of Pakistan is the time of year when the trees of poplar, apricot, mulberry, peach, apple and plum burst forth into a riot of color with hues of orange, rust and red. The clear and bracing weather offers the best view of the surrounding mountains

The art of lace in Northeast Brazil
1.
2. For a great many years Brazil’s
Northeast has exported its
beautiful lace to the four corners
of the world. The rendeira (lace
maker woman) with her patient
and well-crafted work, printed an
unparalleled brand in the crafts of
the Northeast. The work of these
women enchants for simplicity but
also for its art and creativity
3. Lace making started in Europe,
especially in Italy and Belgium,
and was brought to France by
the court of Louis XV. From
France it expanded to Portugal
and England.
The Portuguese brought lace to
Brazil, where it became an
important form of handicraft,
both in the Northeast and in
Santa Catarina, in the South.
The rendeira weaves the thread
on a pillow with the aid of
bobbins, which are used in pairs
Renda de Bilro ( Bobbin lace)
20. Filet Lace is made with a knitting
needle and was developed using the
same technique used by fishermen for
making their fishing nets. This very
old technique was common among the
Egyptians and Persians and spread
well in Europe, from where it was
brought to Brazil by the Portuguese
colonizers. Filet lace is quite common
in the states of Alagoas and Sergipe.

missionaries and nuns and here developed rapidly in the
Northeast region, particularly in the states of Pernambuco
and Paraíba. Renaissance lace is highly valued because of
