Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has allocate a pair: 885-890MHz (downlink) and 930-935MHz (uplink) to the Thai Chinese high-speed Railway project. Global System for Mobile Communications-Railway (GSM-R),
The NBTC also allocated the 380-400MHz spectrum to the Transport Ministry for trunked radio system on the subway system.

Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has finally been able to set a timetable for the country's 4G spectrum auctions, after the cabinet gave the green light to proceed with the auctions plans.
The NBTC expects to issue 4G licenses for the 1800 MHz spectrum and the 900 MHz spectrum.

While 6G is as yet 10 years away, organizations that keep themselves up to date with what this next networking architecture has to bring to the table will have a decisive advantage over their competitors.
While 5G commercialization is still in its initial stage, it's never too soon to begin planning for 6G on the grounds that it regularly takes around 10 years from the beginning of exploration to commercialization of new generation of communications technology.
Most tech insiders trust 6G would need to hit two or three benchmarks first beginning with a hyper-quick information rate that beats 5G, with download paces of at any rate 1,000Gbps (multiple times the speed of 5G) and record-breaking all-time low latency, or “air latency” of under 100 μs, start to finish (E2E) inertness under 1 ms, and amazingly low delay jitter in order of microseconds.
Technology doesn't rest.
Despite the fact that the 5G Technology is still in the beginning of its arrangement, the tech world is now bantering around thoughts on what the next generation – 6G – might resemble.
This isn't startling on the grounds that the technology that goes into 5G's replacement will set aside some effort to create.

One of the most important design problems for multi-UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle) systems is the communication which is crucial for cooperation and collaboration between the UAVs. If all UAVs are directly connected to an infrastructure, such as a ground base or a satellite, the communication between UAVs can be realized through the in-frastructure. However, this infrastructure based communication architecture restricts the capabilities of the multi-UAV systems. Ad-hoc networking between UAVs can solve the problems arising from a fully infrastructure based UAV networks. In this paper, Flying Ad-Hoc Networks (FANETs) are surveyed which is an ad hoc network connecting the UAVs. The differences between FANETs, MANETs (Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) and VANETs (Vehicle Ad-Hoc Networks) are clarified first, and then the main FANET design challenges are introduced. Along with the existing MANET protocols, open research issues are also discussed.
Fifth-generation wireless (5G) is the latest iteration of cellular technology, engineered to greatly increase the speed and responsiveness of wireless networks. 5G will enable a sharp increase in the amount of data transmitted over wireless systems due to more available bandwidth and advanced antenna technology.
GI-FI (Gigabit Fidelity) or Giga bit wireless refers to wireless communication at a data rate of more than one billion bits (gigabits) per second. GI-FI offers some advantages over WI-FI, a similar wireless technology. In that it offers faster information rate in GBPS, less power consumption and low cost for short range transmission as compare to current technology. GI-FI consists of a chip which has facility to deliver short-range multi gigabit data transfer in a local environment and compared to other technologies in the market it is ten times faster. GI-FI has the data transfer speed up to 5 GBPS within a short-range of 10 metres. It operates in 60 GHZ frequency band. GI-FI is developed on an integrated wireless transceiver chip. It has both transmitter and receiver, integrated on a single chip which is fabricated using the CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) process and it also consists of a small antenna. GI-FI allows transferring large videos, audio files, data files etc. within few seconds.

The 2300MHz band is already widely used for FWA and mobile LTE and is now becoming a key resource for 5G-NR. According to the ITU IMT-2020 requirements, 5G must deliver a 10 fold increase in the user experienced data rate from 10 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s, a factor 100 increase in area traffic capacity to 10 Mbit/s/m2, and a 10 fold reduction in latency to 1 milli-second. To deliver this, mobile operators require additional spectrum, particularly in mid-bands which offer a good combination of capacity and coverage. With a 100 MHz of spectrum, the 2300MHz band (LTE band 40 LTE and 5G-NR band N40) is a crucial TDD mid-band spectrum resource for mobile broadband and FWA which has better propagation characteristics than other TDD mid-bands, such as 2600MHz (N41) and 3500MHz (N77/N78).

Exploring the potential of National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) partnering with a MVNA/MVNE to launch a National Wholesale Network for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO)
The merger between True Corporation (TRUE) and Total Access Communication (DTAC) on March 1st, 2023 in Thailand has significantly reduced competition in the Thai telecommunications market, and raised concerns about price increases, service quality decline, and lack of consumer choice.
This report explores the benefits of strengthening the role of National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT), as a neutral player by allowing it to retain its spectrum and partner with a Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA) and enabler (MVNE), to establish a National Wholesale Network (NWN), as a solution to enable competition into the market via Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO).
This approach can foster competition, drive innovation, utilize existing infrastructure and ultimately benefit consumers and enterprises by providing them with more choices and innovative mobile services.

Often described as smaller operators, they provide mobile services similar to mobile operators, and are known as mobile virtual network operators, or MVNO
First launched in the UK in 1999, MVNO's has spread across the globe, and at the end of 2019, there were more than 1300 MVNOs, in 82 countries.
Opposite normal mobile operators, a MVNO does not own spectrum, or radio network infrastructure (mobile antennas)
Instead, they buy wholesale access from a telecom network operator, or through an entity known as a Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA)
A MVNA buy wholesale access from a telecom network operator, on behalf of several MVNOs, in order to achieve a large discount, and then resell, the network access to each individual MVNO.
The MVNE platform provide the MVNO's with technical solutions, such as customer support, billing systems, SIM management, and so on. enabling the MVNO's to setup, operate and charge the subscribers.
The MVNO's can now provide their services to end-users, or to machines (IoT) (M2M), under their own control, price package, and brand

CONNECTING THAILAND'S DIGITAL ECONOMY | Unused Spectrum Capacity, MVNOs and D...YOZZO
This paper, highlights the vast unused telecom network capacity set aside for Mobile Virtual Network Operators #MVNO in Thailand, due to reluctance from the mobile network operators, AIS, Dtac and True, to accept these on their networks.
The introduction of MVNOs in Thailand six years ago has not succeeded in laying the foundation to ensure innovation, the achievement of the broader industry and national economic objectives. The MVNOs has been tethered with the legacy infrastructure and thinking behind the conventional mobile operator services.
However, there are lessons to be learned, and first lesson is - a new approach is needed.
Therefore, we suggest a few additions to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission’s (NBTC) notification regarding network capacity and obligations for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) in Thailand.
We also propose a one-stop shop, who acts as an enabler for the digital economy, MVNO / M2M / IoT service providers, e.g. matching the demand, with the supply of unused MVNO capacity from the telecom operators, and thereby creating a win/win for all stakeholders in the ecosystem.

As Digital TV is getting ready to launch in Thailand, local and foreign set-top-box, television, mobile devices and in-car entertainment manufactures, are also ramping up their activities for the digital broadcasts.
Consumers buying pattern from markets who already have introduced DVB-T2 Set-Top Boxes or Televisions, shows a special buying pattern from consumers. The majority will wait to purchase to the last months before the analog signal is switched off, which leaves a huge gap between launch and shutdown that needs to be explored to keep momentum.
To address the huge gap, it is necessary to think “inside the box”, and focus on solutions that brings value added service in order to cater to more segments.
