This document outlines Kilgore Intermediate School's Texas STaR Chart scores from 2006-2007, 2007-2008, and 2008-2009. The STaR Chart is an online self-assessment tool that measures a school's technology use in four key areas: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration/Support, and Infrastructure. While the school maintained the highest "Advanced Tech" classification in Teaching and Learning, there were decreases in scores and classifications in the other three areas over the three years. The summary suggests providing more staff development, increased accountability, and improved long-range technology planning to address the decreases.
