The Texas STaR Chart is the “School Technology
and Readiness” used to help measure the
effectiveness of technology in response to No
Child Left Behind. This not only measures the
students, but also the professional
development and planning aspect as well.

Our campus is currently rated as advanced in
leadership, administration and instructional
support as well as technology infrastructure.
We are only developing in the teaching and
learning as well as educator preparation and
development categories.

8. WHY?? THE GOOD STUFF
Since we have excellent leadership and planning
and ample opportunity to get new technology
equipment-this allows us to be rated as
advanced.

9. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
We need improvement in the professional
development and application phases of
technology on campus. What is learned, must
be effectively applied in YOUR classroom.
