This document provides an overview of the relief efforts of the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) to assist internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan following military operations in 2009 and devastating floods in 2010. It describes the scale of the humanitarian crisis and challenges faced by IDPs, and highlights several real-life stories and experiences from SRSP personnel involved in relief work, including distributing supplies, building shelters, and helping overwhelmed communities host large numbers of displaced families.
