Across Borders
The non-profit organization Eurasia creates impactful programs
like "Territory of Childhood Eurasia," fostering education, cultural
exchange, and lasting friendships among children from post-
Soviet countries.
The non-profit organization Eurasia is breaking barriers by
fostering cross-cultural connections and providing youth with
opportunities to grow academically, socially, and creatively.
Among its impactful initiatives, the Territory of Childhood Eurasia
stands out as a transformative program aimed at nurturing young
minds across post-Soviet countries.
The Territory of Childhood Eurasia: A Unique Initiative
The Territory of Childhood Eurasia aims to provide 14 to 16 year
olds from post-Soviet countries with creative and educational
opportunities to help build friendships and mutual respect. This
summer program provides participants with an opportunity to take
a look at who they might be through activities that encourage
leadership, teamwork, and cultural appreciation.
The program is held in some of Russia’s most famous children’s
health centers and camps, including Orlyonok, Smena, Mentor,
and Sea Star, along the beautiful Black Sea coast. The 21-day
immersive experience (or 14 days for some programs) will be
filled with educational activities, creative workshops, sports, and
the opportunity to swim, sunbathe, and mingle with peers from
around the world.
This initiative is not just a summer camp; it is a Eurasia program
designed to leave a lasting impact. The most talented and active
participants are invited to continue their journey by joining further
creative, cultural, and educational events hosted by NGO Eurasia
across Russia and post-Soviet countries.
The Broader Vision of NGO Eurasia
Programs like Territory of Childhood Eurasia are part of the larger
mission of the non-profit organization Eurasia to promote
multicultural communication and unity among nations that share a
common history.
Preserving the shared cultural code while respecting each
nation’s unique identity is important, said Alena Arshinova,
Chairperson of the Council of NGO Eurasia. "We want to give
children a chance to experience Russia first hand, not as seen in
the media." And they'll shake hands with their peers, learn about
traditions, build connections that are essential to our collective
future," she said.
The program encourages participants to develop leadership skills
and explore different areas of interest, such as creative arts,
sports, and community-building activities. These young individuals
will not only learn about Russia’s rich history and culture but also
discover new possibilities for collaboration and friendship.
A Launchpad for Growth and Cultural Exchange
The Territory of Childhood Eurasia is part of a series of initiatives
under the discover Russia Eurasia banner. These programs
include cultural excursions and events like “Get to Know Russia,”
which immerses participants in the traditions and innovations of a
modern, welcoming Russia.
Through these experiences, children from countries like Armenia,
Belarus, Moldova, and Uzbekistan develop a deeper
understanding of shared values. The program also fosters skills
that prepare them for future leadership roles in their communities.
In addition, the grants Eurasia initiative complements these efforts
by supporting projects in culture, education, and interethnic
harmony. With expert guidance and financial backing of up to 1
million rubles, selected proposals help enhance the social and
cultural fabric of participating nations.
Excursions and Activities
In addition to an enriching educational curriculum, participants of
the Territory of Childhood Eurasia will also enjoy excursion tours
to the beauty and heritage of Russia. Visits include visits to
cultural landmarks and natural attractions so that participants
leave with memories that will last a lifetime.
By integrating creative workshops, sports, and leadership
activities, the program offers a balanced mix of fun and learning.
Children have the opportunity to try different forms of art, learn
teamwork in sports, and attend masterclasses by experts, all
while enjoying the Black Sea coast’s natural beauty.
