Temperate forests are located in central and western Europe, eastern United States, and eastern Asia. They are home to plants like birch trees, dogwoods, azaleas, and blue bead lily. Animals found in temperate forests include badgers, giant pandas, mountain lions, and woodpeckers. Temperate forests receive between 2-5 feet of rain per year and have temperatures that range from 75-86 degrees Fahrenheit.
