On the occasion of President Obama's Global
Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford University,
please join the Atlantic Council, hosted by Michael
McFaul at Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute, for
a conversation with Condoleezza Rice, Stephen
Hadley, and a panel of Arab entrepreneurs to
discuss the implications of the Middle East's
burgeoning startup scene.
MENA-based entrepreneurs are developing
solutions focused on their region’s economic
needs, cultures, and religions. They have proven
themselves to be technologically savvy, socially
conscious, and highly innovative, when provided
with the needed resources to start new ventures.
To help in the process of obtaining needed
business acumen and financial resources, the U.S.
Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau,
The League of Arab States, and the Middle East &
North Africa Consultants Association (MENA
Consultants) are honored to host some of these
young entrepreneurs at our Global
Entrepreneurship Summit’s Speed Networking &
