The Organization
Coca Cola was founded in 1892 by John Pemberton.
Coca Cola does sell 2800 products in more than 200 countries.
It is one of the largest corporation in USA and biggest
distributor of beverage in the world.
In 1978 , Coca Cola was the only company allowed to sell cold
packaged in China.
Coca Cola invest heavily in the betterment of their corporation
and keeping the employees up to date.
Still Coca Cola has got a lot of issues that they need to take into
consideration.
Products and Services
Coca Cola Market, manufacture and sell rea, coffee, plant based
drinks, juice dairy, sports drinks, water, soft drinks, finished
beverages and concentrated syrups.
The product is available in more than 200 territories and
countries.
Some of the most prominent drinks in the company includes.
Sprite
Vitamin WATER
Fuze Tea
Gold Peak Teas
Smartwater
Areas for Improvement with Technology
Dealing with rivals
Continuous market research using high technologies.
Continuous competitor analysis using AI or ML.
Integration of Customer Focus
Incorporating CRM using technology can enhance customer
focus.
Management can effectively communicate with customers.
Sales promotion
Improving sales promotion using blockchain technology.
Using IoT for sales promotion.
Supplier Relationship Management
Using SRM software for managing supplier relationships.
Problem Statement
Coca Cola Company needs to focus on incorporating technology
to enhance customer focus.
It is possible that incorporating CRM, also known as customer
relationship management, into daily technical operations can
help the company in becoming more customer-focused. It refers
to a system that enables businesses to control their interactions
with customers.
For instance, Coca-Cola may achieve this aim by implementing
customer relationship management software. This would enable
management to communicate with customers more successfully.
The management of the company will be able to identify
consumer complaints more quickly, which will allow them to
quickly and effectively address these problems.
With the combination of Internet of Things IoT and CRM,
Coca-Cola Company can collect the customer data in a more
efficient and effective way.

Prioritize Hypotheses
Evaluates the probable client needs/concerns and problems

SMART GOALS)
These should be written in a SMART format for patient goals.

Background
· The objective of this project is to develop an audiovisual
presentation on how technology can be applied to solve an
organizational problem within an Internet of Things (IoT)
framework.
· Approach the project as if you are recommending a technology
implementation initiative to your chosen organization's
technology planning committee.Technology Selection and
Design (due at end of Module 4)
· Include a problem statement from the previous deliverable for
reference.
· Provide at least two alternatives for addressing the problem
identified for the chosen organization.
· For each potential technology considered, provide an analysis
of its operation, availability, cost, implementation issues, and
overall benefit to the company. This analysis should include
both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
· Based upon these analyses, select a suitable solution and
justify the technology selection.
· Provide a high-level design (in graphical form) showing how
the proposed technology would be applied to solve the
identified problem.
A template file is provided below for your deliverable. To

Problem Statement
• Support Fitbit’s addition of a blood pressure monitoring
capability
through design of a web and mobile app user interface with the
following features:
• Display blood pressure readings numerically and graphically
• Track changes over time
• Identify low/high readings and trends that may indicate health
concerns
Alternative Technology Approaches
• New Progressive Web App (PWA)
• Single blood pressure monitoring app for all platforms (web,
iOS, Android)
• Separate from existing Fitbit apps
• Linked from existing Fitbit website
• Single codebase implemented in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Website plus platform-specific extensions to existing apps
• Web interface using HTML, CSS and JavaScript for browser
access only
• Extensions to existing Fitbit apps implemented in native code
• iOS: Swift/Objective-C
• Android: Java
Source: Google Developers, 2020.
Qualitative Analysis
• Progressive Web App (PWA)
• Advantages
• Faster development time
• Reduced development cost
• Reduced maintenance cost
• Greater consistency across platforms
• Disadvantages
• Unable to integrate with existing
mobile apps
• Not visible in standard app stores
• Limited user interface options
• Limited access to native device
features
• Website plus platform-specific
extensions to existing apps
• Advantages
• Can integrate BP monitoring feature
into existing apps
• Fuller range of user interface options
• Full access to native device features
• Disadvantages
• Separate development required for
each platform
• Higher development time and cost
• Higher maintenance cost
• Risk of inconsistency across
platforms
Source: Moqod, 2019.
Quantitative Analysis
• Estimated development cost for PWA: $17K - $20K
• Estimated development cost for website plus platform-specific
apps
• Website: $17K - $20K
• Android: $17K - $20K
• iOS: $17K - $20K
• Total $51K - $60K 3x higher cost due to separate development
for each platform
• Estimates based on Crowdbotics software development cost
calculator with the following inputs:
• Partial wireframes developed
• Moderate visual appearance customization
• Medium complexity
• HIPAA compliance for health data
• Pro developers (not necessarily USA-based)
• 1 API integration
• Regular updates
• Moderate support level
