The Movement for Credible Cycling has excluded the Astana Cycling team from its association for failing to comply with strict anti-doping rules during this year's Tour de France. In a statement, the MPCC board of directors decided to exclude Astana for not adhering to article 9 of its regulations. Earlier this year, several Astana riders failed drug tests, including two brothers who tested positive for EPO and three others on a secondary team who tested positive for steroids, yet the team still retained its WorldTour license for 2015.
