Zaihab was a farmer who struggled to keep his crops alive each year due to a lack of water. After his wife died, he went to the king and queen to request help getting water to his crops. Zaihab came up with a plan to dig tunnels from the nearest well to his fields. Though his first attempt collapsed, he persisted and successfully built tunnels to irrigate his crops. However, wild animals then began eating the crops, so Zaihab built walls around the fields to keep the animals out. His perseverance and innovative solutions allowed his crops to thrive.
