This document proposes a gamified system called "Tax Free Football" to help improve public perception of taxation. In Tax Free Football, the positions on a football pitch correspond to how different taxes are used. Users allocate skill points to different positions based on their priorities. Their virtual team's performance depends on random events analogous to real-world budget changes. The goal is to engage taxpayers, increase understanding of taxation, and give them a say in spending through a "YouSpend" program. Large corporate donors could provide prizes in exchange for promoting the public services their taxes fund.

C orporations want to do more business. Consumer
relationships are essential. By providing prizes,
corporations reap two benefits:
Hard benefit: Participants are shown a
graphic of how many miles of road,
how many schools, how many teachers’
yearly salaries, etc. a corporation's
annual taxes paid for. This visual
makes an otherwise abstruse number
personally meaningful. Soft Benefit: the corporation
increases brand engagement and
improves its public image. Moreover,
depending on national laws, the
donated prizes might actually be tax
deductible.

US House Majority Leader Eric Cantor started a
program called YouCut.

cut spending from over the next 10 years.

for help with their taxes.

Civilization depends on taxation - just as there
can’t be life without death. But everyone should
