The document summarizes a case study of how NEWGEN implemented an enterprise solution called "eDisha" for a government department in India to automate correspondence and file management. The solution digitized processes like DAK registration, file creation and movement, and provided dashboard reports. This streamlined processes, improved efficiency, increased transparency, and saved an average of 60-100 minutes per file processed.

The document outlines a project plan for managing a software project. It includes sections on project organization, work planning, scheduling and allocating resources, quality control, risk management, and technical and supporting processes. The goal of the project is to develop an Automated Model Compiler tool for Ford to allow users to compile models in their everyday activities. The project plan defines the roles and responsibilities as well as processes for estimation, staffing, training, configuration management, verification, and validation.

This document outlines a 4-step process for organizations to determine which applications to migrate to the cloud: 1) Prepare by understanding cloud concepts and your business needs, 2) Identify applications and match them to your business, 3) Assess applications in more detail to create an architecture plan and cost analysis, 4) Plan and execute the migration by determining timelines and performing the migration. The goal is to methodically evaluate applications to find the best candidates for a successful cloud migration.
This document discusses considerations for migrating from PCM to Unifier. Unifier is a business process driven platform, while PCM is document-driven. Migrating to Unifier requires planning business processes, permissions, and data migration. It also involves customizing Unifier's base functionality. A successful migration depends on comprehensive planning, analysis, and design to configure Unifier appropriately. Migrating may not be justified for all clients, as Unifier implementations can be lengthy and costly.

The document discusses how a service catalog can connect the IT front office to the back office through an integrated service catalog management and request fulfillment process. This connection allows the service catalog to not only hide complex back office technologies and processes from users, but also help minimize or eliminate those complexities. With automation powered by these solutions, user experience is improved through streamlined request handling. It also enhances back office execution by making intelligent decisions and automating traditionally manual processes, improving consistency, quality and lowering costs.
This document discusses how IT housekeeping processes like backups, restores, and file transfers can be automated using UC4 Workload Automation Suite software. The software allows companies to centrally manage and monitor infrastructure processes across operating systems, platforms, and applications. This helps bring order to complex IT environments and frees up personnel to focus on new projects rather than manual day-to-day tasks. The software also helps with change management by making dependencies between processes transparent and allowing changes to be tested before production implementation.

Similar to TaskLift - Online (Cloud based) quality assurance, knowledge sharing and documentation (20)
1. Tasklift can be used to determine
whether the basis of agreement
in place, the prerequisites are met
and to remove doubts and causes
of dispute in the interfaces between
different activities and parties.
Tasklift can also be used to great
advantage in connection with man-
agement of activities, teams and
processes in projects, whether these
are simple and uniform or contains
greater complexity.
Tasklift is an online (cloud-based) system to ensure quality, knowl-
edge sharing and documentation of work done, services rendered
and goods supplied, etc., whether such is performed / provided by
own or external resources, subcontractors, suppliers, etc..
ENSURING QUALITY, KNOWLEDGE
SHARING AND DOCUMENTATION
– SIMPLE, EASY AND SECURE
2. Using the Tasklift application and the latest
technology, used in mobile devices (smart
phones, tablets etc.), Tasklift ensures - in
a fast and secure way, for relatively little
money and without having to invest - the
efficient management of the documenta-
tion from those executing the work and /
or delivering services or goods.
Task Lift consists basically of two parts, an
administration system (for the administra-
tion, or those managing, instructing, pro-
curing etc.) and an App-system (for those
performing, providing, supplying etc.).
The administration
is the person or persons who want:
- to have some work done, some services
provided or goods delivered, and to have
the quality of such documented.
- to establish whether a given contractual
(agreed) basis is in place, in connection
with the above.
- to manage activities or processes in an
optimal manner.
The App system
includes the person(s) who:
- is to perform the work, provide some ser-
vices or deliver some goods.
- in connection with the above, is / are in an
interface and / or have to assess whether
given prerequisites is / are met.
- is / are involved in the activities or pro-
cesses, needed to be managed.
In the administration, the templates are
prepared and these are forming the frame-
work for the final reports, intended being
used as documentation, and instructions
are developed and issued (via Cloud) to
those performing, providing or delivering.
When those have done what they have
to do and made the documentation, in
accordance with the received instruction,
this documentation automatically ends as
finished reports in the right place in the ad-
ministration, with the person(s) being de-
fined as receiver(s).
It is possible that, in the administration,
when sitting with a given report, a person,
having editorial rights, can add text and
other stuff, including making a conclusion,
approve etc.
The person(s) performing, providing or deliv-
ering log on to the Tasklift App, where there
an instruction, prepared in the administra-
tion, which guides him / her through whet
the administration wants being documented.
Situation Today
Companies, organizations and public institu-
tions are using today, for internal as for exter-
nal use, huge number of administrative and
human resources (time and money) to en-
sure quality and document the same, a.o. in
connection with registration, collection, stor-
age and communication about the same.
No matter which of the above considerations,
being the focus, Tasklift could be applicable
and of great benefit in most industries.
3. One thing is the resources, being used
on someone having to check what oth-
ers have been doing and the frustration
it might cause on both sides, but even
though one is often left back with doubt as
to the (degree of) quality of what has been
done (performed / delivered) and / or to
the documentation of same, if such docu-
mentation is even available at all.
Tasklift system is unique in several respects
- quality assurance, knowledge sharing,
documentation, etc.
The Tasklift application automatically con-
vey documentation into the reports - using
GPS, geo location, text and photos – show-
ing unique time, place and who prepared
the documentation, which, after transmit-
ting, is not changeable by the one preparing
the documentation.
Taskliftapplicationcanassigntaskstoexter-
nal users, partners, subcontractors or sup-
pliers, thereby also contributing to the ef-
fective transmission of reports on their part
of the given activity, delivery or project, in
which way everything can be assembled in
Tasklift, organised subject or project wise,
for easy subsequent tracing.
Tasklift can sort (data mine) in the reports,
one may have compiled in the administra-
tion, and make separate reports on this.
Tasklift can, in the administration, permit
“look” access to other internal and exter-
nal partners and share the information in
a fast, easy and safe way, which could, for
instance in a building project, be between
general contractors, subcontractors, sup-
pliers, clients, authorities, etc.
All reports etc. are “hosted” on Tasklift por-
tal (server). Should a given customer re-
quest only to have own material placed on
their own server, separate a agreement and
procedure to ensure that can be made.
Tasklift can be used in even where the
administration and those performing or
delivering do not necessarily communi-
cate in the same language, which can be
a challenge operating within a country or
cross border, i.e. in internationally operating
companies. Besides addressing language
related challenges Tasklift may also, as
the administration and those performing or
delivering does not actually need to be in
(physical) contact with each other,
remove (soften up) some of the rank barriers
that may exist latent or pronounced in cer-
tain companies and cultures.
4. ADVANTAGES
