2. My brainstorm and mood board

3.  The previous slide had my mood board and mind map.
On my mind map I had a lot of different ideas like doing a
games review on WWE 2k16 and writing about the WWE
because I watched the wrestling from a young age.
 Another idea I had was doing two articles on two
favourite TV shows which are Luther which is a crime TV
drama and catfish because its unpredictable.
 On my mind map it I was thinking of doing music genres
but I didn’t think this will give me a good grade because I
am not as passionate about music than I am about sport.
 I had a discussion with my target audience. This helped
me decide on choosing sports for my two articles.

4. Magazine idea
 I have decided to create an two articles from a e-magazine about sport. This
sports magazine will include latest sports scores from football to basketball.
 My target audience will be aimed at young athlete and working class people. This
will be aimed at people who like different types of sports and who are looking to
get into sports.

5. The purpose of the idea
 The purpose of my first article is to inform the target audience about local teams
and facts about the best sports athletes. The second article can educate the target
audience because it will have different types of links to sports drills. An example is
a basketball drill where you dribble through cones and finishing with a jump shot
or a lay up at the rim. This will be accompanied by a written explanation.

6. Achievable aims and location/ personal
 My achievable aim for this project is to take pictures of a basketball training and a
game. It’s the same with football.
 The pictures I can take for basketball is somebody taking a jump shot or dunking a
basketball.
 For football I can take pictures of people doing football skills and having a match
as well.
 These pictures will be taken outside on an astro pitch and an indoor basketball
court.
 I will be using people from my basketball team and using one of my friends that
play football to do the skills.

7. Availability of equipment and space.
 The camera I will be using is a Nikon D3300
DSLR Camera.
 For the basketball I can take pictures on my
coaches camera and I can use the ball which
will be there. My club is called Waltham
Forest Flames and is based in Leytonstone. I
have already discussed this with my coach
and he has approved.
 For football I can take from the P.E desk and
use a camera from college to take the
pictures.

10. Ipso
 Ipso or independent Press Standards Organisation is the
independent regulator of the newspaper and magazine
industry. The reason why ipso exist is to uphold the
professional standards of journalism in the UK. They also
support members of the public when they think that the
Editors' Code of Practice has been breached.
 Before I write my two articles I should get consent from
parents to interview there child if they are under the age of
16.
 I also must publish the correct statements when I am
interviewing someone.

 The reason why I want Ipso as my regulatory body is because they can help me
maintain a professional standard for my magazine. They also make sure all
journalism pieces follow their code of practice.
 So this includes interviewing children with parents consent and also not
publishing something that is inaccurate.

12. Legal and ethical issues
 My magazine is based on sport so this will not offend
anybody's culture and ethnicity. If there is a problem and
I have offend somebody culture or ethnicity they can
contact the regulatory body.
 Libel is writing something that is untrue which is will
harm a person reputation. When I’m doing an interview I
will avoid talking about somebody's private life if they
don’t want me to.
 Ethical issues is a complex situation which often involves
an apparent mental conflict that is between moral
imperatives. To obey this one would result in
transgressing another.
