The SAT exam syllabus covers reading, writing, and math sections. The reading section includes three reading comprehension passages with questions that test skills like main idea, inference, and paragraph relationships. The writing section contains an essay, multiple choice questions on grammar and language conventions, and multiple choice questions on analysis. The math section assesses algebra and functions, statistics and probability, and data analysis through multiple choice questions. The syllabus is designed to test material students learned in high school to prepare them for college-level coursework.
