This document announces a workshop to be held in Mallorca, Spain in the fall of 2015. The workshop will explore underlying causes of divides between society, energy, economy, and ecology. It will identify blind spots and ways to bridge divides through an open worldview. Participants will explore possibilities for a sustainable, resilient, and self-sufficient world and ways to transition businesses and lifestyles without harming the environment. The workshop will be facilitated by Christer Söderberg using various tools including coaching, dialogue, contemplative practice, and theory U.

Exploring facts and moving forward
Whereas today’s challenges are global, solutions are local, and largely personal. Solutions based on facts and
informed choices. In this workshop we look at underlying causes of the different “divides” between Society,
that’s you and me, and our Energy, Economy, and Ecology, and the personal and collective choices that have
gotten us here. Moving from the fragmented, disconnected reality of our world, we can re-connect and
discover a more inclusive way, identifying blind spots and bridging divides with a more open world-view.
Together we explore the possibilities and opportunities of a sustainable, resilient, and self-sufficient world,
helping you and your company transition to a safe and secure business and lifestyle, without risking the
environment we depend on for our life support systems.
The dialogues and thinking processes will be facilitated by Christer Söderberg, sustainable leadership consultant
and coach, offering a variety of tools and methodologies including: Coaching Leadership, Dialogue Interviews,
Guided Journaling, Contemplative Practice, Formal Axiology, Theory U, and Open Space.
Christer Söderberg – Christer is comfortable with change: living in nine countries, speaking seven
languages, and managing companies on four continents is all about dealing with change, and adapting.
Christer left corporate leadership in 2002 after establishing a Swedish industrial product multinational
with an office in Brazil and distribution in six South- and Central American countries. Experiencing global
economical, energy and environmental challenges first-hand prompted Christer to choose a path of self-
development and working towards a more balanced lifestyle, in harmony with the planet. Based on the
island of Mallorca, in Spain, in 2013 Christer initiated Sacred Valley Dialogues, a yearly conference bringing together
thought leaders for dialogues on Energy, Economy, Ecology and Ethics.
