Design Of Spur Gear Using Wire Cut EDM Machine CITD,Hyderabad
 Addition of SIC increases the gear the strength of spur gear.
 Effect is also analyzed by changing the modules of the gear and by
changing the tooth width.
 tooth load is calculated with help of lewis equation&dynamic tooth
load calculated with help of buckingham equation.
 wire cut electric dischargemachining is one of the most emerging
non conventional manufacturing processes for machining hard to
machine material and intricate shape which are not possible with
conventional machining methods.

 An operator decides and adjusts various machines parameters like feed,
depth of cut etc depending on type of job, and controls the slide
movements by hand. In a CNC Machine functions and slide movements
are controlled by motors using computer programs.
 Because of its versatility, manufacturers us wire cut EDM functions for an
extensive range of applications. Because the process can cut very small
pieces, it is often an ideal choice for the production of small, highly
detailed items that would normally be too delicate for other machining
options.
