5. ِدَٰـَلِبْٱل ىِف اَهُلْثِم ْقَلْخُي ْمَل ىِتَّٱل
٨
ِدا َوْٱلِب َرْخَّصٱل ۟واُباَج َينِذَّٱل َدوُمَث َو
like them
carved out
the rocks
in the valley
9. َر ُهَٰىَلَتْبٱ اَم اَذِإ ُنَٰـَسنِ ْ
ٱْل اَّمَأَف
َمَّعَن َو ُۥهَمَرْكَأَف ُۥهُّب
ُلوُقَيَف ُۥه
ِنَمَرْكَأ ٓىِبَر
try him
and is generous to him
and favors him
he says
has honored me
10. ِنَنٰـَهَأ ٓىِبَر ُلوُقَيَف ۥُهَقْز ِ
ر ِهْيَلَع ََردَقَف ُهٰىَلَتْبٱ اَم اَذِإ ٓاَّمَأَو
١٦ and restricts
his provision
humiliated me
He try him
But when He tries him, by straitening his means of life, he says:
"My Lord has humiliated me
11. َيمِتَيْٱل َونُم ِ
رْكُت َّ
َّل لَب ۖ َّ
َّلَك
١٧
ِينِكْسِمْٱل ِامَعَط َٰ
ىَلَع َونُّضَٰٓـَحَت َ
َّل َو
١٨
you honor
Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and
generosity
you feel the urge
And urge not on the feeding of poor
12. ا ٌۭ
مَّل ٌۭۭ
َّلْكَأ َاثَرُّتٱل َونُلُكْأَت َو
١٩
ا ٌۭ
مَج اٌۭبُح َلاَمْٱل َونُّب ِحُت َو
٢٠ And you consume
the inheritance
devouring
altogether
And you devour inheritance all with greed
And you love
wealth
love
immense
And you love wealth with much love
13. ا ٌۭ
كَد ا ٌۭ
كَد ُض ْرَ ْ
ٱْل ِتَّكُد اَذِإ ٓ َّ
َّلَك
٢١
اٌۭفَص اٌۭفَص ُكَلَمْٱل َو َكُّبَر َءٓاَج َو
٢٢
is leveled
pounded
crushed (strike or hit heavily and repeatedly.)
Nay! When the earth is ground to powder
And your Lord comes with the angels in rows
14. ٰ
ىَرْكِٱلذ ُهَل ٰ
ىَّنَأَو ُنٰـَسنِْ
ٱْل ُرَّكَذَتَي ٍٍۢذِئَم ْوَي ۚ َمَّنَهَجِب ٍٍۭذِئَم ْوَي َءٓى۟ا ِجَو
٢٣
And is brought
the remembrance
And Hell will be brought near that Day. On that Day will man
remember, but how will that remembrance (then) avail him
15. ىِتاَيَحِل ُتْمَّدَق ىِنَتْيَلَٰـَي ُلوُقَي
٢٤
ٌۭدَحَأ ٓۥُهَباَذَع ُبِذَعُي َّ
َّل ٍٍۢذِئَم ْوَيَف
٢٥
I had sent forth
So on that Day, none will punish as He will punish
He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for
(this) my life
16. ٌۭدَحَأ ٓۥُهَقاَث َو ُقِثوُي َ
َّل َو
٢٦
ُةَّنِئَمْطُمْٱل ُسْفَّنٱل اَهُتَّيَأَٰٓـَي
And none will bind as He will bind
O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction
24. ٍٍۢةَيِناَء ٍْنيَع ْنِم َٰ
ىَقْسُت
٥
ٍۢ
ٍيع ِ
رَض نِم َّ
َّلِإ امَعَط ْمُهَل َ
ْسيَّل
٦
They will be given to drink
a spring
boiling
a bitter thorny plant
25. ٦
ٍٍۢوعُج نِم ىِنْغُي َ
َّل َو ُنِمْسُي َّ
َّل
٧
ٌۭةَمِعاَّن ٍٍۢذِئَم ْوَي ٌۭوهُج ُو
٨
Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger
it nourishes
it avails
hunger
joyful
28. ٌۭۭةَيِغَٰـَل اَهيِف ُعَمْسَت َّ
َّل
١١
ٌۭةَي ِ
ارَج ٌۭ
ْنيَع اَهيِف
١٢
ٌۭةَعوُف ْرَّم ٌۭ
رُرُس اَهيِف
١٣
vain talk they will hear
flowing
(will be) thrones
raised high
Therein will be thrones raised high
29. ٌۭةَعوُض ْوَّم ٌۭاب َوْكَأ َو
١٤
ٌۭةَفوُفْصَم ُق ِ
ارَمَن َو
١٥
And cups
put in place
And cushions
lined up
