ٍ‫ل‬‫و‬ُ‫س‬َّ‫ر‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ‫م‬ِ‫ه‬‫ي‬ِ‫ت‬ْ‫أ‬
Recite to them, as a case in point, the story of the people of the town when the Messengers came to
them. (13) We sent to them two Messengers and they rejected both of them as liars. Then We strengthened
them with a third (Messenger). (14) They said: “We have been sent to you as Messengers.” The people of the
town said: “You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Merciful Lord has revealed nothing. You are
simply lying.” (15) The Messengers said: “Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you (16) and our
duty is no more than to clearly convey the Message.” (17) The people of the town said: “We believe you are
an evil omen for us. If you do not desist, we will stone you or you will receive a grievous chastisement from
us.” (18) The Messengers replied: “Your evil omen is with you. (Are you saying this) because you were asked
to take heed? The truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds.” (19) In the meantime a man
came running from the far end of the town, saying: “My people, follow the Messengers; (20) follow those who
do not ask any recompense from you and are rightly-guided. (21) Why should I not serve the One Who
created me and to Whom all of you shall be sent back? (22) What! Shall I take any deities apart from Him
whose intercession will not avail me the least were the Merciful One to bring any adversity upon me, nor will
they be able to rescue me? (23) Surely in that case I should indeed be in evident error. (24) I believe in your
Lord; so listen to me.” (25) (Eventually they killed him and he was told): “Enter Paradise.” The man
exclaimed: “Would that my people knew (26) for what reason Allah has forgiven me and placed me among
the honoured ones.” (27) After him, We did not send down any hosts from the heaven; We stood in no need
to send down any host. (28) There was but a single Blast and suddenly they became silent and still. (29) Alas
for My servants! Never does a Messenger come to them but they mock him. (30) Have they not seen how
many nations before them did We destroy? Thereafter they never came back to them. (31) All of them shall
(one day) be gathered before Us. (32)

forgiven, so recite it at the time of your death.

) al-madinah) but ٌ‫ۃ‬َ‫ي‬ ْ‫ر‬َ‫ق‬

and ٌ‫ة‬َ‫د‬ْ‫ل‬َ‫ب‬
) baldah) are cities which are not walled {M}.

reach the ultimate end, whether that is with regards to right place or
time.
ُ‫غ‬ َ
‫ًل‬َ‫ب‬ْ‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ is for something to be enough or sufficient in order to make a
man realise his goal through it, so he may not require any further
means for this {T}.
God has termed the Quran as ِ
‫اس‬َّ‫ن‬‫ل‬ِ‫ل‬ ٌ‫غ‬َ‫ًل‬َ‫ب‬
) balaghun naas) in 14:52. In
other words, it is the medium through which man can reach his goal
and does not require the presence of any other medium to do so. So
the Quran is the medium through which Man can reach his destiny,
but it can only take those to their ultimate destination who obey it,
those who live according to its dictates.

It also means anything which is thought to be lucky or
unlucky
also means bad omen or luck (destructive results) or
punishment for deeds {T}.
َ‫ر‬ِ‫ئ‬‫ا‬َّ‫لط‬َ‫ا‬(at-taairu) also means luck for the Arabs, but the
Quran has used it to mean the result of deeds.
DIVINE GUIDANCE VS SELF
GUIDANCE
َ‫ون‬ُ‫ب‬ِ‫ذ‬ْ‫ك‬َ‫ت‬ َّ
‫َّل‬ِ‫إ‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ ْ‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬ ٍ‫ء‬ْ‫ي‬َ‫ش‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ُ‫ن‬ٰ‫ـ‬َ‫م‬ْ‫ح‬َّ‫الر‬ َ‫ل‬ َ‫نز‬َ‫أ‬ ‫ا‬َ‫م‬ َ‫و‬
The people of the town said: “You are only human beings like ourselves, and the
Merciful Lord has revealed nothing. You are simply lying.” (
Do we need Divine guidance, or we have reached a pinnacle where human intellect
will decide what's right and wrong for us?

‫اعراض‬
َ‫ون‬ُ‫ف‬ ِ
‫ر‬ْ‫س‬ُّ‫م‬ ٌ‫م‬ ْ‫و‬َ‫ق‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ ْ‫ل‬َ‫ب‬ ۚ ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬ ْ‫ر‬ِ‫ك‬ُ‫ذ‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫ئ‬َ‫أ‬
because you were asked to take heed? The truth is that you are a people
who have exceeded all bounds.” (19)
ٍ‫د‬‫ا‬َ‫ه‬ ْ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ُ‫ه‬َ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬َ‫م‬َ‫ف‬ ُ َّ
‫َّللا‬ ِ‫ل‬ِ‫ل‬ْ‫ض‬ُ‫ي‬ ‫ن‬َ‫م‬ َ‫و‬
he whom Allah lets go astray, none can guide him to the Right Way.39:36

So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. (9) He who fears (Allah)
shall heed it, (10) but the wretched will turn away from it. (11) He will be cast
into the Great Fire.

S-R-F ‫ف‬ ‫ر‬ ‫س‬ ُ‫ف‬ َ‫ر‬َّ‫س‬‫ل‬َ‫ا‬
) as-surf): to cross the limit, to commit an excess
{T}.
Ibn Faris says it means to do something foolish. That is, to spend
more than necessary at a place i.e. to waste.
The above explanations show that ٌ‫اف‬ َ‫ر‬ْ‫س‬ِ‫ا‬
) israaf) is not only being a
wasteful spender (or one who spends needlessly), it also means to
spend human energy, time, wealth or any other capability for a
purpose which is not constructive, or to waste it for destructive
results.

T-B-Ain ‫ع‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ت‬ َ‫ع‬ِ‫ب‬َ‫ت‬
) ta_beh): to walk behind, follow. ‫پيچهے‬ ‫پيچهے‬ ‫ہيں‬ ‫معنی‬ ‫۔کے‬َ‫ع‬ِ‫ب‬َ‫ت‬

) itbah) and ‫اطاعت‬
) ita_a) have a minor difference, like to
follow and to obey. Definitely ‫اطاعت‬
) ita_a) means following as well as
obedience, which is done for the sake of the mentor, but it does have a
connotation of an order or moral requirement. ‫اتباع‬
) itbah), on the other
hand, is following at one_s own will due to love, or attraction, but not due
to some order or requirement.

The Quran has used ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ح‬ِ‫اء‬َّ‫ص‬‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ as-sa_ihah to mean destruction,
or the sound which is heard during an earthquake, or the
rumble when a volcano erupts.
Surah Hoodh says ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ي‬َّ‫ص‬‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ as-sa_ihah in (11:67). In surah Al-
Airaaf the same thing has been called ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ف‬ْ‫ج‬َّ‫لر‬َ‫ا‬ ar-rajfah or
earthquake.
In surah Yasin, this word has been used for sudden
destruction (36:29), because at such times there is
associated shouting and crying caused by destruction.
human hearing frequency range (between 20 and 20,000 Hz), high-intensity sounds above 150
decibels can burst your eardrums, while sounds above 185 dB can impact your inner organs and
cause death. They can do this by causing an air embolism in your lungs, affect inner organs, or
even make your lungs explode. However, to instantly kill, a sound would have to be as loud as
240 dB which is hard to come by

I believe in your Lord; so listen to me.” (25) (Eventually they killed him and he was told):
“Enter Paradise.” The man exclaimed: “Would that my people knew (26) for what
reason Allah has forgiven me and placed me among the honoured ones.” (27)

  • 3. Recite to them, as a case in point, the story of the people of the town when the Messengers came to them. (13) We sent to them two Messengers and they rejected both of them as liars. Then We strengthened them with a third (Messenger). (14) They said: “We have been sent to you as Messengers.” The people of the town said: “You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Merciful Lord has revealed nothing. You are simply lying.” (15) The Messengers said: “Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you (16) and our duty is no more than to clearly convey the Message.” (17) The people of the town said: “We believe you are an evil omen for us. If you do not desist, we will stone you or you will receive a grievous chastisement from us.” (18) The Messengers replied: “Your evil omen is with you. (Are you saying this) because you were asked to take heed? The truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds.” (19) In the meantime a man came running from the far end of the town, saying: “My people, follow the Messengers; (20) follow those who do not ask any recompense from you and are rightly-guided. (21) Why should I not serve the One Who created me and to Whom all of you shall be sent back? (22) What! Shall I take any deities apart from Him whose intercession will not avail me the least were the Merciful One to bring any adversity upon me, nor will they be able to rescue me? (23) Surely in that case I should indeed be in evident error. (24) I believe in your Lord; so listen to me.” (25) (Eventually they killed him and he was told): “Enter Paradise.” The man exclaimed: “Would that my people knew (26) for what reason Allah has forgiven me and placed me among the honoured ones.” (27) After him, We did not send down any hosts from the heaven; We stood in no need to send down any host. (28) There was but a single Blast and suddenly they became silent and still. (29) Alas for My servants! Never does a Messenger come to them but they mock him. (30) Have they not seen how many nations before them did We destroy? Thereafter they never came back to them. (31) All of them shall (one day) be gathered before Us. (32)

DID JESUS SENT THEM? ‫قديم‬ ‫مفسرين‬ ‫بالعموم‬ ‫اس‬ ‫طرف‬ ‫گئے‬ ‫ہيں‬ ‫کہ‬ ‫اس‬ ‫بستی‬ ‫سے‬ ‫مراد‬ ‫شام‬ ‫کا‬ ‫شہر‬ ‫انطاکيہ‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫اور‬ ‫جن‬ ‫رسول‬ ‫وں‬ ‫کا‬ ‫ذکر‬ ‫يہاں‬ ‫کيا‬ ‫گيا‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫انہيں‬ ‫حضرت‬ ٰ ‫عيسی‬ ؑ ‫نے‬ ‫تبليغ‬ ‫کے‬ ‫ليے‬ ‫بهيجا‬ ‫تها‬ ‫عيسائيوں‬ ‫کی‬ ‫غير‬ ‫مستند‬ ‫روايات‬ ‫سے‬ ‫اخذ‬ ‫کيا‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫اور‬ ‫تاريخی‬ ‫حيثيت‬ ‫سے‬ ‫بالکل‬ ‫بےبنياد‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫سلوتی‬ ‫خاندان‬ ( Saleu cid dynasty) ‫کے‬ 13 ‫بادشاه‬ ‫انتيوکس‬ ( Antiochus) ‫کے‬ ‫نام‬ ‫سے‬ ‫گزرے‬ ‫ہيں‬ ‫اور‬ ‫اس‬ ‫نام‬ ‫کے‬ ‫آخری‬ ‫فرمانروا‬ ‫کی‬ ،‫حکومت‬ ‫بلکہ‬ ‫خود‬ ‫اس‬ ‫خاندان‬ ‫کی‬ ‫حکومت‬ ‫بهی‬ 65 ‫قبل‬ ‫مسيح‬ ‫ميں‬ ‫ختم‬ ‫ہوگئی‬ ‫تهی‬ . ‫بائيبل‬ ‫کی‬ ‫کتاب‬ ‫اعمال‬ ‫سے‬ ‫معلوم‬ ‫ہوتا‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫کہ‬ ‫واقعۂ‬ ‫صليب‬ ‫کے‬ ‫چند‬ ‫سال‬ ‫بعد‬ ‫عيسائی‬ ‫مبلغين‬ ‫پہلی‬ ‫مرتبہ‬ ‫وہاں‬ ‫پہنچے‬ ‫تهے‬ ‫بائيبل‬ ‫کے‬ ‫بيان‬ ‫کی‬ ‫رو‬ ‫سے‬ ‫انطاکيہ‬ ‫پہًل‬ ‫شہر‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫جہاں‬ ‫کثرت‬ ‫سے‬ ‫غير‬ ‫اسرائيليوں‬ ‫نے‬ ‫دين‬ ‫مسيح‬ ‫کو‬ ‫قبول‬ ‫کيا‬ ‫اور‬ ‫مسيحی‬ ‫کليسا‬ ‫کو‬ ‫غير‬ ‫معمولی‬ ‫کاميابی‬ ‫نصيب‬ ‫ہوئی۔‬ ‫حاَّلنکہ‬ ‫قرآن‬ ‫جس‬ ‫بستی‬ ‫کا‬ ‫ذکر‬ ‫يہاں‬ ‫کر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ہا‬ ‫ہے‬ ‫وه‬ ‫کوئی‬ ‫ايسی‬ ‫بستی‬ ‫تهی‬ ‫جس‬ ‫نے‬ ‫رسولوں‬ ‫کی‬ ‫دعوت‬ ‫کو‬ ‫رد‬ ‫کرديا‬ ‫اور‬ ‫باآلخر‬ ‫عذاب‬ ‫ی‬ٰ‫الہ‬ ‫کی‬ ‫شکار‬ ‫ہوئ‬ ‫ی۔‬ ‫تاريخ‬ ‫ميں‬ ‫اس‬ ‫امر‬ ‫کا‬ ‫بهی‬ ‫کوئی‬ ‫ثبوت‬ ‫نہيں‬ ‫ملتا‬ ‫کہ‬ ‫انطاکيہ‬ ‫پر‬ ‫ايسی‬ ‫کوئی‬ ‫تباہی‬ ‫نازل‬ ‫ہوئی‬ ‫جسے‬ ‫انکار‬ ‫رسالت‬ ‫کی‬ ‫بنا‬ ‫پر‬ ‫عذاب‬ ‫قرار‬ ‫ديا‬ ‫جاسکتا‬ ‫ہو۔‬ ‫بستی‬ ‫کا‬ ‫تعين‬ ‫نہ‬ ‫قرآن‬ ‫ميں‬ ‫کيا‬ ‫گيا‬ ،‫ہے‬ ‫نہ‬ ‫کسی‬ ‫صحيح‬ ‫حديث‬ ،‫ميں‬ ‫بلکہ‬ ‫يہ‬ ‫بات‬ ‫بهی‬ ‫کسی‬ ‫مست‬ ‫ند‬ ‫ذريعہ‬ ‫سے‬ ‫معلوم‬ ‫نہيں‬ ‫ہوتی‬ ‫کہ‬ ‫يہ‬ ‫رسول‬ ‫کون‬ ‫تهے‬ ‫اور‬ ‫کس‬ ‫زمانے‬ ‫ميں‬ ‫بهيجے‬ ‫گئے‬ ‫تهے۔‬ ‫قرآن‬ ‫مجيد‬ ‫جس‬ ‫غرض‬ ‫ک‬ ‫ے‬
  • 7. TOWN (‫)قريہ‬ big city, any city or any place where many dwellings are situated alongside each other {T}. Raghib says it means any place where people gather. It also means the people who gather {R}. Muheet says that a walled city is called ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ن‬ْ‫ي‬ِ‫د‬َ‫م‬ْ‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ ) al-madinah) but ٌ‫ۃ‬َ‫ي‬ ْ‫ر‬َ‫ق‬ ) qaryah) and ٌ‫ة‬َ‫د‬ْ‫ل‬َ‫ب‬ ) baldah) are cities which are not walled {M}. Simple life vs complicated life Busy life vs free life Self-content vs More hunger Self centered vs community centered
  • 8. ‫بًلغ‬ ‫مبين‬ ‫کيا‬ ‫ہے‬ B-L-Gh ‫غ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ب‬ It is said that ٌ‫غ‬ ْ‫و‬ُ‫ل‬ُ‫ب‬ ) bulugh) and ٌ‫غ‬َ‫ًل‬َ‫ب‬ ) balagh) mean to reach the ultimate end, whether that is with regards to right place or time. ُ‫غ‬ َ ‫ًل‬َ‫ب‬ْ‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ is for something to be enough or sufficient in order to make a man realise his goal through it, so he may not require any further means for this {T}. God has termed the Quran as ِ ‫اس‬َّ‫ن‬‫ل‬ِ‫ل‬ ٌ‫غ‬َ‫ًل‬َ‫ب‬ ) balaghun naas) in 14:52. In other words, it is the medium through which man can reach his goal and does not require the presence of any other medium to do so. So the Quran is the medium through which Man can reach his destiny, but it can only take those to their ultimate destination who obey it, those who live according to its dictates.
  • 9. ‫طير‬ ‫منحوسيت‬ ‫کيا‬ ‫ہے‬ Te-Y-R ‫ر‬ ‫ی‬ ‫ط‬ for a bird to move in air with its wings, to fly Ibn Faris says that it basically means for something to be light in the air. Thereafter it is used metaphorically for everything fast. َ‫ا‬ ‫کے‬ُ‫ر‬ِ‫ئ‬‫ا‬َّ‫لط‬ ‫معنی‬ ‫نحوست‬ ( ‫اعمال‬ ‫کے‬ ‫تباه‬ ‫کن‬ ‫نتائج‬ ) ‫يا‬ ‫شامت‬ ‫اعمال‬ ‫کے‬ ‫بهی‬ ‫ليے‬ ‫جاتے‬ ‫ہيں‬ (* ‫تاج‬ ) ‫۔‬ It also means anything which is thought to be lucky or unlucky also means bad omen or luck (destructive results) or punishment for deeds {T}. َ‫ر‬ِ‫ئ‬‫ا‬َّ‫لط‬َ‫ا‬(at-taairu) also means luck for the Arabs, but the Quran has used it to mean the result of deeds.

DIVINE GUIDANCE VS SELF GUIDANCE َ‫ون‬ُ‫ب‬ِ‫ذ‬ْ‫ك‬َ‫ت‬ َّ ‫َّل‬ِ‫إ‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ ْ‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬ ٍ‫ء‬ْ‫ي‬َ‫ش‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ُ‫ن‬ٰ‫ـ‬َ‫م‬ْ‫ح‬َّ‫الر‬ َ‫ل‬ َ‫نز‬َ‫أ‬ ‫ا‬َ‫م‬ َ‫و‬ The people of the town said: “You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Merciful Lord has revealed nothing. You are simply lying.” ( Do we need Divine guidance, or we have reached a pinnacle where human intellect will decide what's right and wrong for us?
  • 11. ‫نصيحت‬ ‫سے‬ ‫اعراض‬ َ‫ون‬ُ‫ف‬ ِ ‫ر‬ْ‫س‬ُّ‫م‬ ٌ‫م‬ ْ‫و‬َ‫ق‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬‫ن‬َ‫أ‬ ْ‫ل‬َ‫ب‬ ۚ ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬ ْ‫ر‬ِ‫ك‬ُ‫ذ‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫ئ‬َ‫أ‬ because you were asked to take heed? The truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds.” (19) ٍ‫د‬‫ا‬َ‫ه‬ ْ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ُ‫ه‬َ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬َ‫م‬َ‫ف‬ ُ َّ ‫َّللا‬ ِ‫ل‬ِ‫ل‬ْ‫ض‬ُ‫ي‬ ‫ن‬َ‫م‬ َ‫و‬ he whom Allah lets go astray, none can guide him to the Right Way.39:36 ٰ ‫ى‬ َ‫ر‬ْ‫ك‬ِ‫الذ‬ ِ‫ت‬َ‫ع‬َ‫ف‬َّ‫ن‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬ ْ‫ر‬ِ‫ك‬َ‫ذ‬َ‫ف‬ ﴿ ٩ ﴾ ٰ ‫َى‬‫ش‬ْ‫خ‬َ‫ي‬ ‫ن‬َ‫م‬ ُ‫ر‬َّ‫ك‬َّ‫ذ‬َ‫ي‬َ‫س‬ ﴿ ١٠ ﴾ ‫ى‬َ‫ق‬ْ‫ش‬َ ْ ‫اْل‬ ‫ا‬َ‫ه‬ُ‫ب‬َّ‫ن‬َ‫ج‬َ‫ت‬َ‫ي‬ َ‫و‬ ﴿ ١١ ﴾ َ‫ار‬َّ‫ن‬‫ال‬ ‫ى‬َ‫ل‬ْ‫ص‬َ‫ي‬ ‫ِي‬‫ذ‬َّ‫ال‬ ٰ ‫ى‬ َ‫ْر‬‫ب‬ُ‫ك‬ْ‫ال‬ So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. (9) He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, (10) but the wretched will turn away from it. (11) He will be cast into the Great Fire.
  • 12. ‫مسرف‬ ‫قوم‬ S-R-F ‫ف‬ ‫ر‬ ‫س‬ ُ‫ف‬ َ‫ر‬َّ‫س‬‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ ) as-surf): to cross the limit, to commit an excess {T}. Ibn Faris says it means to do something foolish. That is, to spend more than necessary at a place i.e. to waste. The above explanations show that ٌ‫اف‬ َ‫ر‬ْ‫س‬ِ‫ا‬ ) israaf) is not only being a wasteful spender (or one who spends needlessly), it also means to spend human energy, time, wealth or any other capability for a purpose which is not constructive, or to waste it for destructive results.
  • 13. ‫اتباع‬ ‫کيا‬ T-B-Ain ‫ع‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ت‬ َ‫ع‬ِ‫ب‬َ‫ت‬ ) ta_beh): to walk behind, follow. ‫پيچهے‬ ‫پيچهے‬ ‫ہيں‬ ‫معنی‬ ‫۔کے‬َ‫ع‬ِ‫ب‬َ‫ت‬ ‫چلنا‬ Note that ‫اتباع‬ ) itbah) and ‫اطاعت‬ ) ita_a) have a minor difference, like to follow and to obey. Definitely ‫اطاعت‬ ) ita_a) means following as well as obedience, which is done for the sake of the mentor, but it does have a connotation of an order or moral requirement. ‫اتباع‬ ) itbah), on the other hand, is following at one_s own will due to love, or attraction, but not due to some order or requirement.
  • 14. ‫قوم‬ ‫کا‬ ‫انجام‬ ، ‫صيحہ‬ ُ‫ة‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ي‬َّ‫ص‬‫ال‬ ‫۔‬ ‫پورے‬ ‫زور‬ ‫سے‬ ‫نکالی‬ ‫ہوئی‬ ‫سخت‬ ‫واز‬ٓ‫ا‬ ‫۔‬ َ‫ح‬‫ا‬َ‫ص‬ ‫۔‬ُ‫ح‬ْ‫ي‬ ِ ‫ص‬َ‫ي‬‫۔‬ ‫چ‬ ‫يخنا۔‬ ‫اونچی‬ ‫واز‬ٓ‫ا‬ ‫نکالنا‬ ‫ن‬ٓ‫ا‬‫قر‬ ‫کريم‬ ‫ميں‬ َ‫ا‬ ُ‫ة‬َ‫ح‬ِ‫ئ‬‫ا‬َّ‫ص‬‫ل‬ ‫۔‬ ‫کا‬ ‫لفظ‬ ‫عذاب‬ ‫کے‬ ‫ليے‬ ‫يا‬ٓ‫ا‬ ،‫ہے‬ ‫يا‬ ‫اس‬ ‫واز‬ٓ‫ا‬ ‫ک‬ ‫ے‬ ‫ليے‬ ‫جو‬ ‫زلزلہ‬ ‫کے‬ ‫وقت‬ ‫تی‬ٓ‫ا‬ ،‫ہے‬ ‫يا‬ ‫کوه‬ ‫تش‬ٓ‫ا‬ ‫فشاں‬ ‫کے‬ ‫پهٹنے‬ ‫کے‬ ‫وقت‬ ‫تی‬ٓ‫ا‬ ‫ہے۔‬ The Quran has used ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ح‬ِ‫اء‬َّ‫ص‬‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ as-sa_ihah to mean destruction, or the sound which is heard during an earthquake, or the rumble when a volcano erupts. Surah Hoodh says ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ي‬َّ‫ص‬‫ل‬َ‫ا‬ as-sa_ihah in (11:67). In surah Al- Airaaf the same thing has been called ُ‫ۃ‬َ‫ف‬ْ‫ج‬َّ‫لر‬َ‫ا‬ ar-rajfah or earthquake. In surah Yasin, this word has been used for sudden destruction (36:29), because at such times there is associated shouting and crying caused by destruction. human hearing frequency range (between 20 and 20,000 Hz), high-intensity sounds above 150 decibels can burst your eardrums, while sounds above 185 dB can impact your inner organs and cause death. They can do this by causing an air embolism in your lungs, affect inner organs, or even make your lungs explode. However, to instantly kill, a sound would have to be as loud as 240 dB which is hard to come by
  • 15. ‫ُون‬‫د‬ِ‫م‬‫َا‬‫خ‬ َ‫ُون‬‫د‬ِ‫َام‬‫خ‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ه‬ ‫ا‬َ‫ذ‬ِ‫إ‬َ‫ف‬ ‫ا‬‫ة‬َ‫د‬ ِ‫اح‬ َ‫و‬ ‫ا‬‫ة‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ي‬َ‫ص‬ َّ ‫َّل‬ِ‫إ‬ ْ‫َت‬‫ن‬‫ا‬َ‫ك‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬ There was but a single Blast and suddenly they became silent and still. ِ‫ت‬َ‫د‬َ‫م‬َ‫خ‬ ُ‫ار‬َّ‫ن‬‫ال‬ ‫۔‬ ‫گ‬ٓ‫ا‬ ‫کے‬ ‫شعلوں‬ ‫کا‬ ‫ساکن‬ ‫ہو‬ ‫جانا‬ ‫اگرچہ‬ ‫اس‬ ‫کے‬ ‫انگارے‬ ‫نہ‬ ‫بجهے‬ ‫ہوں۔‬ ‫اگ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫انگارے‬ ‫بهی‬ ‫بجه‬ ‫جائيں‬ ‫تو‬ ‫اسے‬ ِ‫ت‬َ‫د‬َ‫م‬َ‫ہ‬ ‫کہيں‬ُ‫ار‬َّ‫ن‬‫ال‬ ‫گے‬ ( ‫راغب‬ ) ‫۔‬ ‫ابن‬ ‫فارس‬ ‫نے‬ ‫اس‬ ‫کے‬ ‫بنيادی‬ ‫معنی‬ ‫حرکت‬ ‫کا‬ ‫ساکن‬ ‫ہو‬ ‫جانا‬ ‫نيز‬ ‫گر‬ ‫جانا‬ ‫بتائے‬ ‫ہيں۔‬

CHARACTERISTIC OF MESSENGER ‫داعی‬ ‫کے‬ ‫صفات‬ َ‫ون‬ُ‫د‬َ‫ت‬ْ‫ه‬ُّ‫م‬ ‫م‬ُ‫ه‬ َ‫و‬ ‫ا‬‫ا‬‫ر‬ْ‫ج‬َ‫أ‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬ُ‫ل‬َ‫أ‬ْ‫س‬َ‫ي‬ َّ ‫َّل‬ ‫ن‬َ‫م‬ ‫وا‬ُ‫ع‬ِ‫ب‬َّ‫ت‬‫ا‬ follow those who do not ask any recompense from you and are rightly-guided Selfless people who don’t ask for worldly gains Following path of divine guidance

WHO SHOULD BE WORSHIPPED – FIRST & LAST َ‫ون‬ُ‫ع‬َ‫ج‬ ْ‫ر‬ُ‫ت‬ ِ‫ه‬ْ‫ي‬َ‫ل‬ِ‫إ‬ َ‫و‬ ‫ي‬ِ‫ن‬ َ‫ر‬َ‫ط‬َ‫ف‬ ‫ِي‬‫ذ‬َّ‫ال‬ ُ‫د‬ُ‫ب‬ْ‫ع‬َ‫أ‬ َ ‫َّل‬ َ‫ي‬ِ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬َ‫م‬ َ‫و‬ Why should I not serve the One Who created me and to Whom all of you shall be sent back? Fatir – the one who created for the first time Turja’un – to one to whom we will ultimately return

ALLAH VS OTHER GODS ٍ ‫ر‬ُ‫ض‬ِ‫ب‬ ُ‫ن‬ٰ‫ـ‬َ‫م‬ْ‫ح‬َّ‫الر‬ ِ‫ن‬ْ‫د‬ ِ ‫ر‬ُ‫ي‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬ ‫ا‬‫ة‬َ‫ه‬ِ‫ل‬‫آ‬ ِ‫ه‬ِ‫ن‬‫ُو‬‫د‬ ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ُ‫ذ‬ ِ‫خ‬َّ‫ت‬َ‫أ‬َ‫أ‬ ‫ا‬‫ئ‬ْ‫ي‬َ‫ش‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ه‬ُ‫ت‬َ‫ع‬‫ا‬َ‫ف‬َ‫ش‬ ‫ي‬ِ‫ن‬َ‫ع‬ ِ‫ن‬ْ‫غ‬ُ‫ت‬ َّ ‫َّل‬ ِ‫ون‬ُ‫ذ‬ِ‫ق‬‫ن‬ُ‫ي‬ َ ‫َّل‬ َ‫و‬ ‫ا‬ What! Shall I take any deities apart from Him whose intercession will not avail me the least were the Merciful One to bring any adversity upon me, nor will they be able to rescue me? CAN'T SAVE CAN'T INTERCESS CAN’T RESCUE

WELL-WISHER IN BOTH WORLDS ِ‫ون‬ُ‫ع‬َ‫م‬ْ‫س‬‫ا‬َ‫ف‬ ْ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬ِ‫ب‬ َ‫ر‬ِ‫ب‬ ُ‫نت‬َ‫م‬‫آ‬ ‫ي‬ِ‫ن‬ِ‫إ‬ ﴿ ٢٥ ﴾ ‫ي‬ِ‫م‬ ْ‫و‬َ‫ق‬ َ‫ْت‬‫ي‬َ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬َ‫ي‬ َ‫ل‬‫ا‬َ‫ق‬ ۖ َ‫ة‬َّ‫ن‬َ‫ج‬ْ‫ال‬ ِ‫ل‬ُ‫خ‬ْ‫د‬‫ا‬ َ‫ل‬‫ي‬ِ‫ق‬ َ‫ون‬ُ‫م‬َ‫ل‬ْ‫ع‬َ‫ي‬ ﴿ ٢٦ ﴾ ‫ي‬ِ‫ب‬ َ‫ر‬ ‫ي‬ِ‫ل‬ َ‫ر‬َ‫ف‬َ‫غ‬ ‫ا‬َ‫م‬ِ‫ب‬ َ‫ين‬ِ‫م‬ َ‫ر‬ْ‫ك‬ُ‫م‬ْ‫ال‬ َ‫ن‬ِ‫م‬ ‫ي‬ِ‫ن‬َ‫ل‬َ‫ع‬َ‫ج‬ َ‫و‬ I believe in your Lord; so listen to me.” (25) (Eventually they killed him and he was told): “Enter Paradise.” The man exclaimed: “Would that my people knew (26) for what reason Allah has forgiven me and placed me among the honoured ones.” (27)
