INSPIRING NIGERIA’S VANGUARD OF EXCEPTIONALLY NOBEL TALENTS
SHEBA Events Centre, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos

                  11am prompt
…grooming the next school of visionary leaders
What is I.N.V.E.N.T?

I.N.V.E.N.T is an acronym for
Inspiring Nigeria’s Vanguard of
Exceptionally Noble Talents. It
is a platform for ensuring that
the appropriate measure of
information reaches Nigeria’s
potential future leaders. We
are quite aware that the
students (protégés), mentors
(certified career professionals),
schools, parents, peers of
participating protégés and
everyone who have so far been
part of the I.N.V.E.N.T project
would attest to the fact that it
has unarguably been
impactful, fulfilling, inspiring
and invaluable.
Testimonials
‘I want to thank the organizers for this programme, it
has indeed been helpful. Saidat has improved on her
performances both in school and at home. She has
become conscious in the way she manages her time and
she said that is what her mentor taught her. I am very
grateful, may God bless you’- Mr. O.A Bakare (A Parent)

‘This is a remarkable job, I can see improvements
in the student both morally and academically and
in the manner they go about their studies. They
have become more focused on their career and I
have a conviction that if they find themselves in
leadership positions tomorrow, they will perform
excellently well’- Mrs Adeshina (A teacher:
Ayedere Ajibola Senior Secondary School, Mile 12,
Lagos)

‘I like I.N.V.E.N.T because it has help me to
meet a mentor who understand what I want
to become and have helped me, I am more
confident now….I will like the organizers to go
to my brother’s school too’- Vivian Ezeh
(Baptist Girls’ Academy, Obanikoro)
‘This is a programme focused on
transforming lives and perspectives of the
future leaders. It uses practical hand-on
experience and interaction with persons
with leadership experience to groom future
leaders. Each step is a lifelong experience ‘-
Adeyi ‘Ladipo (Head, Modern Trade, NESTLE,
Nigeria

‘In a country where the lagging moral
standards have eaten deep, and young people
find themselves at a loss as to where their
future is headed, the I.N.V.E.N.T project is
indeed a welcome development. I am quite
convinced that it has relevance in the lives of
our youths through its mentoring
programme and should be supported by
government, private entities and World care
bodies’- Victoria Onwubiko (Senior Manager,
Marketing and Communications, First Bank
Nigeria
Challenge
The I.N.V.E.N.T project has been Some of the protégés during a
designed to run largely on photo session at Baptist Academy
corporate funding through
sponsorship participations and
partnerships but they have not
been forthcoming as expected.
In the last one year, the project
has been running on self-
funding by the organizers. The
financial burden has however
been weighty and thus
threatening the continuity of
the project which has widely
been lobbied to be extended.
                                          We cannot afford to surrender
                                          the future of our upcoming
                                          leaders to the precipice of
                                          indiscretion. There had been no
time in human history when a
                                          growing generation had been
                                          more vulnerable as now! There
                                          is therefore the need to
                                          continuously feed this
                                          generation of future leaders
                                          with the right information that
can empower them to make the
                                          right choices/decisions/changes
