In 2016, a micro-franchise program doubled in size from 50 to 98 stores, allowing 48 more women to earn an income by running their own stores. The women have reinvested their earnings to improve their stores and lives, such as by hiring employees, buying household items, and saving money for the first time. In 2017, the program aims to expand further to 250 stores total and begin operations in new countries to create more economic opportunities.
