INT. HEADMASTER'S OFFICE
XAVIER is sitting in a chair, opposite a large desk behind
which the HEADMASTER is sat. XAVIER is in casual clothes,
wearing a 'Visitor' pin badge. HEADMASTER looks at him.
HEADMASTER
I suppose you're wondering what
kind of school you've come to,
young man.
XAVIER
Well, I guess so...
HEADMASTER
Well let's take a walk, and I'll
show you around.
HEADMASTER and XAVIER walk out of the office.
CUT TO:

EXT. SCHOOL GROUNDS
XAVIER and HEADMASTER are walking past various classrooms,
looking in each to see interesting things going on. And when
looking into the first classroom, they see a girl sorting
books with her fingers touching her forehead, using her mind
to move the books.
HEADMASTER
This is Mindy, she's been studying
here for about a year now, she uses
her free time to help control her
powers.
They move along to the second classroom, where inside they
see a group of young adults, but they all look the same.
They're in pairs, playing chess on little wooden tables.
HEADMASTER
(out of shot)
Oh, this is Asher, his power is to
duplicate himself, this aids him to
do extra work, as you see.
XAVIER looks amazed, with his eyes wide open and a smile on
his face.

They move to the gym, to which they see a student who is
over 7ft tall, and is breaking brick walls as a sort of
exercise.
HEADMASTER
(looks at Xavier)
Can you guess what Milo's power is,
Xavier?

XAVIER
(smiles)
S-s-s-super strength?
HEADMASTER
Indeed, young man. Milo has been
here for about four months now, and
has been here everyday making his
powers as great as possible.
XAVIER
(inquisitively)
So, what are you training all these
people to do?
HEADMASTER
To be whoever they want to be.
After they feel their time is done
here, they can do whatever they
want, we offer care, advice and
training facilities, so we hope
that all our students turn out to
do good.
They turn around, to head back to the office.
HEADMASTER turns to XAVIER, smiling.
HEADMASTER
So, Xavier, what do you think of
the school?
XAVIER looks excited, he beams at the HEADMASTER.
XAVIER
(Happily)
It's awesome! When can I join?
HEADMASTER
Tomorrow. Your things have been
delivered to your dorm, thirty-two

Wow! That's great!
DISSOLVE TO

INT. DORM ROOM
We see XAVIER in his dorm room, it's a spacious, hexagonal
room, with a bed on 5 of the sides, and a door on the other.
He is unpacking his suitcase into his drawers next to his
allocated bed. There is another boy, a bit older, doing the
same on the other side of the room.
QUENTIN
(looks at XAVIER)
You new here?
XAVIER
(looks up)
Yeah, man.
QUENTIN
Same here,
(walks over and shakes
hand)
Names Quentin. This school's crazy
right?
XAVIER
(chuckles)
Yeah, it really is.
They return to unpacking, while continuing speaking.

QUENTIN
(inquisitively)
So, what is your power?

XAVIER
Fire control, how about you?
*
QUENTIN
(smiles)
I can run rather quickly.
XAVIER
(happily)
Ace.
They continue packing, the bg music gets louder and you can
see them chatting but can't hear what they say, the scene
blurs slowly.
