IT WORKS

When Sunlight hits your solar panels, unusable energy is cre-
ated which is then converted to a consumable form of energy
through a device called an inverter. Although your home is still
connected to the utility grid, the energy from your solar sys-
tem offsets your traditional utility bill through a process called
Net Metering.

16. FAQ’SThe 5 questions that everyone always asks.
Is there any sort of time commitment to this?
Yes. Going solar means that we convert your power source to solar with
panels installed on your roof. It’s not something we can take on and off
but the great thing is that we warranty the panels for 20 years, so the
time commitment is 20 years.
What happens if we move?
If you move, you move. It’s no big deal. We actually only expect people
to be in their homes for about 5 to 7 years after we install the panels.
When the time comes to sell your house, we’ll transfer your warranty to
the next homeowner. It’s really easy to do and adds potential value into
your home
What about maintenance cost?
We take care of them. They’re pretty much maintenance free but every
now and again a panel will go out. We monitor them for you and will
know if something is wrong. We’ll call to set a time to fix the issue at no
cost to you*.

17. What about insurance?
Another nice thing is you won’t have to report it to your homeowner’s
insurance company because we actually insure it for you. We have a $2
million policy on every system so no matter what happens we’ll take care
of them. We also warranty your roof against leaks so if there’s ever a leak
just call us and we’ll send someone out to fix it and repair any damage
done.
What happens if we have to get a new roof?
In the event that you need a new roof, please contact us at (855) 464-

accomadate your panels while you replace your roof.
