2. A N OT E from our Founder:
As a wife, mother, and business owner, working at home was something I loved to
do, but it brought its daily challenges. One of those challenges was finding apparel
that easily transitioned from one role to the next; I wanted comfort and didn’t want
to sacrifice style. After learning that my daughter, Brittany, was also in need of this
type of versatile apparel, we searched many shops for the kind of clothing that we
both envisioned but couldn’t find it. So we designed it ourselves. As our vision grew,
so did a business: Ava Gray. Apparently, we weren’t the only women who were
looking for a comfortable yet chic collection of any-wear apparel! Ava Gray was
a great success and was sold in boutiques all across the country. In my travels to
these stores, I met with women who had a love for the fashion industry and shared
the same daily challenges that I had faced. Thus, the inception of Ava Gray Direct.
Being a fashion stylist is one of the most sought-after careers, yet also one of
the most difficult to break into. Not anymore! Ava Gray Direct allows women
