Vincent Lee Kwun-leung received apprenticeship in oil-pastel drawing from Mr. and
Mrs. Fong at Cheung Chau Art Gallery since his kindergarten era. Thus, he has

inherited the poster-colour sketching style of Chan Hoi-ying from Hong Kong
Academy of Fine Arts. Later on, due to his background of focusing on CE and AL
Visual Arts in college era, Vincent got in touch with the education of plant-drawing,
design, figure-drawing and narrative painting. This enables his painting to transform
as comprising the elements of Expressionism, Impressionism and Plasticism.
Vincent Lee received a legitimate mode of academy-based visual arts training at
HKBU with diversified Chinese and Western creative mediums. His Honours-Project
tutor, Ms. Cho Yeou-jui, is a Taiwanese occupational “Photorealism” acrylic painter
stationing in New York. His drawing instructor is Mr. John Li Tung-keung, who has
fostered numerous talents at CUHK Fine Arts. Mr. John Li’s teaching methodology of
Western Fauvism mixed with the spiritual vividness of Chinese literati painting
tradition inspires Vincent Lee to disclose a kind of humorous aesthetic features
during his painting creativity. Vincent has ever followed Mr. Chan Ching from Prime
View Garden of Tuen Mun to learn the application skills of poppy oil. Due to such a
complicated art-learning circumstance, Vincent has invented a unique style of acrylic
language. He even established an independent art studio at On Fat Industrial Building
of Kwai Hing since 2016, with the teaching of Western Calligraphy Courses as his
major career to pursue the ideal of being an amateur painter.
In September 2020, Vincent Lee will further his MA studies at CUHK Fine Arts.

Aim 教學目的:
Hand-drawn designs are getting popular recently as they can become attractive
souvenirs for the creative industries.
There are quite a number of design products that can fill learners with much fun,
such as “harmonious soft-pastel greeting cards”, “light drawing”, “Zentagle drawing”
and “Mandela drawing”. They require a combination of typography skills,
spatial-distribution skills, colour-scheme allocation skills, linear-distribution skills and
layout-editorial skills. All these skills are with functional purposes, which can be
applied to daily practices.
手繪設計近年非常流行，乃因其能成為創業產業中富魅力之精品。
市面上有很多款式的設計產品能給予初學者莫大的興趣，如「和諧乾粉彩心意卡」、
「輕繪」、「禪繞」及「曼駝羅繪畫」，此等創作均需對字體學、空間感、色彩學、
線條組成、排版學問有一定的觸覺；這些技巧具功能性的用途，應用於日常生活

Aim 教學目的:
The art-jamming trend is getting popular as it is a leisure for occupational persons to
relax and know new friends. For sure, such kind of art expression is honoured by the
DSE Visual Arts curriculum because Art teachers from secondary school focus on the
training of “narrative painting”. This course provides a full picture for learners to
understand the skills for how to do still-life painting, landscape painting and portrait
painting. After grasping these three important areas of art, a final creative project is
given to learners as they can choose their favourite themes for development.
「art-jammming」近年十分盛行，是在職人士放鬆及認識新朋友的消閒；當然，
這種趣味畫風亦是 DSE 視藝科推崇的，因為中學視藝老師慣常教授「故事畫」創

Aim 教學目的:
Nowadays, Hong Kong people are surviving within a realm of “globalization”. Our life
is always affected by the fluctuation of international diplomacies, social politics and
Sino-Western cultural variations. Thus, it is inevitable for every intellectual with
entrepreneurial aspirations to study History for developing the important skills of
macroviewed observations. This course aims at helping everybody read the past
historical sources across Europe, the US, Asia and China. Open discussions and
debates are highly encouraged in terms of finding out some unique solutions to
render with the power-struggle issues.
It is hoped that, this course can help the current students from secondary schools to
prepare for DSE History exams, whereas occupational persons can also participate in
the discussion process to enrich the critical thinkings of these youngsters.
現今，香港人身處於「全球化」的洪流，我們的生活很自然地受到國際外交、社
會政爭、中西文化差異等變遷所影響，所以有志向的知識份子需多讀歷史，培養
宏觀審時度勢的技巧。此課程引領大家研讀橫跨歐洲、美國、亞洲、中國的歷史
