Talented engineer who can solve complex engineering problems and design system using creative,
innovative thinking and IT skills. Easy going by nature and able to get along with both work
colleagues and senior managers.
EDUCATION
October 2014-August 2015MSc Power Distribution Engineering in Newcastle university (merit
expected)
Relevant modules: Network Design and Automation, Earthing, Protection, Power Cables, Power
Transformer, Fundamental of Distribution engineering, Asset Management & Maintenance and
Legislation & risk assessment. All modules have an assignment base on practical work.
2007-2012 Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Benghazi University
(formerly Qaryouns university) (2011 year-off from studying because the war in Libya)

Senior project in 2012 was “PLC S7-400 and WinCC SCADA system based gas turbine
simulator”.Team leader for this project. Worked effective with fellow students in the project.
2006 Graduated from Alfatih gifted secondary school in Benghazi with GBA 89%.
2013 (Febrary-July) General English course at ST Giles International in Eastbourne,
UK.
RELATED EXPERIENCE
2014 (January-June) Electrical consultant engineer at Libyan Technical Consultancy,
Benghazi, Libya.
Worked with a group of engineers, giving advice and solving problems in electrical
design works for other companies.
Designed electrical HV and LV networks, load estimating and installation with a team
of engineer.
Developed my IT skills using electrical calculations like Dialux, Ecodial advanced
calculation and Autocad.
2010 (June-September) Industrial placement at Libyan Technical consultancy
Developed my ability to design and calculate for electrical works in office
Coordinated between the office and workers in the field in street lighting project
2. VOLUNTARY WORK
2009-2012 (June-September) voluntary charity in Benghazi, teaching computer.
Trained children and elderly people how to use computer for example IT basic skills,
installing software, solving basic problems, using Microsoft office package and printing.
Organised with my colleagues the training program.
