I would like to introduce myself as a resourceful and competent professional worked as a combatant
member with the Logistics Branch of the Indian Air Force from 09 May 1996 to 31 May 2016.
After undergoing one year training in Logistics, Warehousing and Materials Management, I have been
working at various Air Force Stations as a Non Commissioned Officer in charge of various
sections/stores/warehouses. Across these assignments, I have gained extensive experience in and acquired
expertise in a wide range of supply chain responsibilities including logistics, warehousing, transportation, storage
& accounting, spares planning & provisioning, procurement & contracting and scrap/salvage disposal. I have
sound understanding of the requirements of various categories of stores like aircraft/avionics equipment &
spares, test equipment & spares, fragile & delicate instruments, vehicle/automotive equipment & spares, petrol
oil & lubricants and general stores & consumables. I have extensive experience in working in a computerized
environment including implementing & maintaining the IAF’s customized ERP, IMMOLS. By developing and
implementing SOPs and streamlining workflows, I have contributed to the achievement of predefined goals and
objectives.
From November 2012 to May 2016, I worked as a Sergeant (Senior NCO) at the Base Repair Depot at
Air Force Station Ojhar, Nashik as the in-charge of the MiG-29 Store providing efficient support to the overhaul
line and upgradation line, which has been recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Air Officer
Commanding of the Base.
Earlier as in charge of the Salvage/Scrap Disposal section, I achieved revenue generation of INR 1.5 crore
through e-auctions as well as conventional auctions.
From November 2007 to October 2012, I worked at the Air HQ New Delhi reporting to the Director
Logistics. As Data Management in charge, I completed creation & cleansing of master data of 5 newly inducted
surface to air missile systems in the IMMOLS database.
From April 2004 to November 2007, I worked at the Air Force Station Barrackpore Kolkata, where my
major contribution was as a core team member in implementing the IMMOLS system for which I received a
Certificate of Appreciation from the Station Commander.
I have also worked at other IAF stations and forward bases including Air Force Station, Srinagar.
