This document outlines a student attendance management system project. The project team includes 4 members and is overseen by 3 supervisors. The existing manual attendance tracking system is time-consuming and difficult to analyze records. The proposed automated system will help the institute, teachers, and students by fully digitizing the attendance marking process to reduce paperwork and generate accurate reports. The system architecture diagram and functional/non-functional requirements are provided, along with the scope, visual, and development tools used.

3. Project Introduction
• This system is named as Student Attendance Management
System
• This system is being developed to keep and maintain the
records about the attendance of the students
• The administrator can manage all the user accounts and the
registered users
• The teachers can mark the attendance of the students and
can also modify if needed and can also see, notify, send
alerts and warn the students that have the less attendance
than the required policy

• In the Existing system all attendance related work is done
on paper and it is manually
• The whole session attendance is stored and maintained
manually in registers and it is compiled at the end of the
month
• It is difficult for the departments to analyze the whole
records

6. Novelty of Proposed Project
• The proposed system will fully automate the marking of
attendance
• It will help the institute, teachers and will also help the
students
• This project also aims to reduce the paper work with
100% accuracy of the attendance record
• The efficient reports can be generated by using this
proposed system.

10. Scope of Proposed System
The project is developed as a Web application, and it
will work for ICT department. But later on, the
project can be modified to operate it on all
departments of CTTI.
