STRESSED? Many working adults burn the candle at both ends. Eventually it will catch
up with you. Try these tips to create a better balanced mind and body.
Go to bed early two to three nights per week. Have your entire family go to bed at 9:00
p.m. versus 11 p.m. Quality and quantity of sleep is the best investment you can make.
ADD COLOR TO YOUR DIET: Add fruits and vegetables to every meal. Eat more
salads, fruits and colorful veggies. Blend them up and make a healthy shake.
GUARD TIME TO GOOF OFF: You might have everyone in the family stay in their
pajamas all day on a Sunday and watch movies, for example. Turn off the phone and
ignore the door bell.
GET REINFORCEMENTS: Hire someone to help deep clean, vacuum and dust every
two weeks. Don't kill yourself trying to keep up.
MAKE TIME GET HEALTHY: Most of us know the rules of exercise, vitamins, and
getting enough sleep. But, we need stay vigilant in taking the time to eat right,
supplement our diet with vitamins and minerals, exercise 3 to 5 times a week by walking,
running, or riding our bikes, and get eight hours of sleep. The little things we do day-by-
day will make a big difference in our health and the way we feel in the long run.
