Four Areas for Attention Identifying Main Areas of Emphasis Creating an Evaluative Dashboard Developing a Distinctive Brand Implementing a Progressive Process
Identifying Main Areas of Emphasis SWAT Analysis Gifts and Passions of Current Leaders Theological/Philosophical/Strategic Ideals History/Tradition Resources NARROW THE FOCUS!
Creating an Evaluative Dashboard “Imagine if…” Unifying Principles of Mission “We’re successful when…” Secondary Dashboards for Each Area of Emphasis CLARIFYING THE WIN
Developing a Distinctive Brand Calvary is… How do we want to be known? Our Brand should reflect our prioritized area of emphasis. Over time, we will become what we brand ourselves. We must brand ourselves as we want to become.
Implementing a Progressive Process We have a vague idea of where we want to be in 5 years. We should have a clearer idea of where we want to be in 2 years. We need to know where we want to be in 1 year. Our process should reflect where we will be six months… A six-month process allows for evaluation and adaptation. Our process must stem from our emphasis, fulfill the categories of our dashboard, and should be consistent with our brand.
Now What? Brief Discussion of potential Brand and Emphasis. Identify our key areas of Emphasis. Discuss ramification and potential branding. Develop dashboard based on areas of emphasis. Restructure L-Team to reflect dashboard. Create New Brand. (recruit artists and designers to assist in the process) Clarify six-month plan (Read Silo Book).
