Story
The Library of Lost Tomorrows"
In the heart of a sleepy town stood an ancient library that few remembered. The
townsfolk passed it every day, never noticing the faded sign or the strange shimmer of
dust on its windows. But inside, time didn’t flow quite right.
One rainy afternoon, a boy named Theo, curious and soaked from the storm, pushed
open the heavy wooden door. A bell tinkled—not one of sound, but of memory. He
stepped inside, and the world outside faded like a dream.
The librarian was a woman with silver eyes who spoke
in whispers. She led Theo past endless shelves, each
filled with books that pulsed gently with light. “These,”
she said, “are books of the tomorrows that never came
to be.”
Theo pulled one from the shelf. His name was on the
spine.
Theo. He kept it hidden
beneath his pillow, afraid it
might vanish if anyone else
saw it. On sleepless nights,
he’d hold it up and read the
words over and over: “You
built a machine that turned
time into seeds.”
What did it mean?
One evening, as twilight
dripped like honey over the
rooftops, Theo returned to
the library. The door opened
before he even touched it.
