Tefute Building Materials Company has a line of uniquely designed proilfes that
captures the asethetics of all of the widely known roofing tiles in the market today.
Tefute has six stone coated steel profiles to choose from .We carry Woodshake,
Shingle, Bond, Classical, Roman and Roman II which is a smaller barrel design.
Tefute Stone Coated Steel roofing tiles are certified under ICC-ES, UL 2218, Class A
Fire Rating, and UL1897 in which will perform satisfactorily when installed under the
conditions for use in areas subject to a maximum ultimate design wind speed of 130
mph (209 km/h) on structures a maximum of 40 feet (12 192mm) in height in Exposure
B areas.

3. In the manufacturing process, we use a 26 gauge steel with zinc-aluminum alloy coating
including rock-solid components.
The steel is laid out and sandwiched in between two layers of aluminum zinc layers, used for
for anti rust and corrosion properties.Before the Acrylic Adhesive Bonding layer is added,
there is an additional layer added for protection.
On top of the Bonding layer is the colorful stone which is referred to as “ basalt” which is
used as the decorative and protective layer of our stone coated tiles, it's derived from
common extrusive volcanic rock, known for its durability and strength. It also is known to
reduce the noise caused by rainwater. The stone covered panels are then placed in ovens in
which the electroplating process begins until the desired bonding effect is reached. After the
colorful stone layer is added an acrylic glazing layer is added to increase brightness and
bonding strength of the stone chips and prevent rainwater from the inner layer.
