Steve Jobs was an American entrepreneur who co-founded Apple Inc. in 1976 and served as CEO until 2011. He was born in 1955 and died of pancreatic cancer in 2011. Jobs also co-founded Pixar and NeXT and had four children with his wife Laurene Powell Jobs. He is renowned for his role in the computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s with Apple, helping to usher in the era of personal computers.
