Notes - Tundra/Forest area
1. Cutscene showing the player entering the Tundra, where you can
see a few military personnel patrolling.
2. The military units will be moving in a pattern, scouting the area to
make sure no one passes. If you are caught, you are sent to the
beginning of the last checkpoint.
3. The key by the two guards must be picked up to gain access to this
building. Here, there will be an undercover marketer that will grant
you access to clothing that will allow you to disguise yourself as a
military soldier. However, this will only lower the chance you will be
detected. If you are spoken to, you will still be caught.
4. There is a cutscene here that will show a different soldier leaping his
way across the stones, as water is still flowing here and can wash
you away. If the optional key was picked up, there is a locked
warehouse to the south which contains 5 crystal shards.
5. The warehouse to the south of the lake that contains 5 crystal
shards. Needs key to the north of the lake (can be seen by a sparkle
on the ground).
6. This is the soldiers’ quarters. Here you will converse with an off-duty,
drunk soldier who will inform you about a wetsuit and snorkel kit that
only higher ranked soldiers receive (he believes you are a
newcomer).
7. If you come back with the snorkel kit taken from the soldiers’
quarters, you can dive into the lake and pick up 3 crystal shards.
Gather disguise from the checkpoint area without being detected.
After getting information out of the drunk soldier, acquire his wetsuit
and snorkel kit.
Get to the entrance of Crystalline Caves and dive down.
Notes - Crystalline Caves
1. The rocky mountains can be used to look down onto the map from a
higher point of view.
2. If the mountains were used for scouting, the key will have a shine
effect similar to the one in the Tundra. The key will be extremely
hard to discover unless you get on top of one of these structures at
least once, as it will not emit any shine and be a dull key in the
water. If you do get up on top of one of these rocks, a cutscene will
trigger to show the player where the key is located, illuminating it
with a sparkle.
3. Open this warehouse to find two crystal shards and spiked boots.
4. Getting near this rock formation will trigger a cutscene that looks to
the top of it. Once the player gets on top, it will trigger another
cutscene that overlooks the ice puzzle.
5. The player must navigate through the ice puzzle and collect the two
keys to get through the small shack.
6. Use the two keys acquired from the ice puzzle to open the doors of
the shack. On the other side of the second door is another key
leading to the entrance to the foundry.
7. Once inside the foundry, you will be inspected by the foreman, and
‘tested’ on what the crystal shards are being used for in order to gain
access past here. In addition to this, he will also tell the player how
many crystal shards remain in the level that the player can collect.
8. An entrance to a mine shaft can be seen here. The player will begin
his descent into the mines, ending the level.
Get on top of the raised terrain to trigger cutscene - (optional
objective).
Pick up key that opens up the warehouse.
Acquire spike shoes from the warehouse.
Get on near and on top of the rock formation to trigger cutscenes.
Navigate through the ice mave.
Pass the test of the foreman to gain access to the mines.
